🌟 What a fantastic first few days! 🌟

What a lovely first 3 days back at school it has been! πŸ’›

It has been so wonderful to see all of our children from Highpark & LCR settling back into school so well. Our P1 children have had a fantastic start and have been enjoying getting to know their new surroundings, making new friends and having fun together at playtime and lunchtime. πŸ₯°

All of our pupils have settled into their new classes brilliantly, and it has been lovely to see our teachers getting to know each and every one of them and helping them feel happy, comfortable and welcome in their new classrooms. πŸ“šβœ¨

A huge well done to all of our children β€” you should be so proud of yourselves! πŸ‘πŸ’›

And of course, a big thank you to all of our wonderful staff for making the first few days so positive and welcoming for everyone.

Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead! πŸŒˆπŸ’«

What to Label:

Jumpers, cardigans, and blazersShirts, trousers, skirts, and dresses.

PE kits, shorts, and plimsolls.

Coats, hats, scarves, and gloves.

Shoes, bags, and lunchboxes.

If not labelled then items can mistakenly be taken or end up lonely in a box.

Please have a look at the link below for more information and fantastic facts.

https://www.rmg.co.uk/stories/space-astronomy/how-see-12-august-2026-partial-solar-eclipse

Scientists have given the exact time Scottish stargazers will be able to enjoy the very rare phenomenon of an eclipse. It is the solar eclipse will be visible across the whole of the UK on August 12 - and it is this will be the most coverage seen from the UK and Ireland for 27 years.

In Glasgow on that day people will see it start on August 12 in Glasgow and Edinburgh, where it will begin at about 6:08pm.

While parts of Europe - including Iceland and Northern Spain- will get a total eclipse that will turn night to day, while the UK will enjoy a partial eclipse, creating an eerie early twilight.
