We are a registered charity organising and running classes in traditional music. Runs classes in Scottish Folk music on a variety of instruments, taught by ear.

Our aim is to promote an understanding and appreciation of Scottish trad music, provide opportunities for people to learn and create a community around it. Professional highly experienced tutors who are well-know performers and experts in their field. Classes in Accordion, Banjo (Tenor and 5-string), Bodhran, Ceilidh Band, Cello, Fiddle, Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin, Mixed Instrument, Small Pipes, Song, Ukulele, Whistle

Well, can you believe it?
It's nearly the start of Term one!
August 17th and 19th.

Big favour to ask : could you please register for your classes asap?

We need to get the right tutors in place, classrooms allocated, instruments allocated and timetables made for the start of Term.

With Wimbledon season now upon us - and wall to wall tennis on the telly.

But back in the days before we sat staring at a screen we played tennis🎾

Here are the good folks of North Gardner St having some wholesome fun on their newly built tennis courts in 1900.

Note the "to let" signs in the newly built tenement windows.
