A big thank you to everyone who came along yesterday to our Family Event we hope you all had a great time. There were lots of smiling and very wet children!!!

Lots of thank yous and shout outs to do for everyone that helps us put on an event like this:
β›ͺ The Immaculate Conception - to the best wee parish priest for always supporting us with use of hall and church grounds.
πŸš” Police Scotland Greater Glasgow - big thanks to our community police officers for coming along and letting the wet children climb all over your car. A special mention for helping us deliver all the spare food to Homeless Project Scotland last night.
πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸš’ Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Maryhill Station Amber watch - safe to say the kids were loving this!!
🎈The Quirky Craft Factory - for the fabulous balloon arch - no balloons were harmed in dismantling this so we will be able to use these for some events between now and end of term!!

And finally to all the St Mary's staff who help and rope their family in to helping, we make a good team πŸ’ͺ🏻, thank you!

Event on tonight in springburn

Aimed to help parents support their children when leaving school 🏫

There's free pizza also πŸ•

We’d like to extend a very warm welcome to our first Parent Power Meeting.

If you’re a parent in the local community, this is for you. Our free meetings are designed to bring parents together to help overcome barriers affecting your child’s education.

You might be unsure how to support your child in accessing college or university, need guidance with UCAS applications or SAAS forms, or feel there are wider community issues impacting opportunities. Whatever your concerns, this is a space to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Our meetings will take place every few months, giving parents the chance to build a network and create positive change together.

Our first meeting:
Wednesday 13th May
6:00 – 7:15pm
Balgrayhill Community Centre, 139 Balgrayhill Rd, Glasgow, G21 3AE

Please get in touch via Facebook, email, or WhatsApp to confirm your attendance.

Pizza will be provided during the meeting.

Feel free to share this with other parents who might be interested, everyone is welcome.
