⭐️ MONDAY’S MUSICAL THEATRE ⭐️

What a brilliant night of singing, acting, dancing, ballet and tap! Our classes were full of creativity, confidence and lots of fun! 🎭✨

MINIS 🌟
Our Minis finished their ‘I’m a Believer’ song from Shrek in singing and they absolutely smashed it! 🎶

In acting, they took a trip into the wild, meeting lots of amazing animals and creatures and letting their imaginations run wild! 🦁🐒

In dance, they got stuck into their new choreography and had a fantastic time bringing it all to life! 💃

MINI BALLET & TAP 🩰
Our Mini Ballet & Tap dancers worked hard on their skills and technique, building confidence while having lots of fun along the way!

JUNIORS 🎭
Our Juniors explored morals and messages in stories during acting. Each group was given a book and had to work out the moral of the story and the message behind it, before creating their own scene based around that idea. They then performed their scenes to the class… fantastic teamwork and creativity from everyone!

In singing, we continued working on our pop song and are already making great progress! 🎤

In dance, we continued developing their technique and working on new choreography. ✨

INTERMEDIATES 🔥
Our Intermediates continued working on their dance technique while adding choreography to a brand-new dance to ‘What’s wrong with me’ and it’s already looking AMAZING!

In acting, we worked on improvisation, creating scenes in groups from just a few given lines. They then performed them to the class and absolutely smashed it! 👏

In singing, we continued working on our pop song, as well as having some fun with songs we’re looking at including in this year’s panto! 👀🎶

Performance Team Are BACK! 🎭✨

We’re levelling up our PerformingWorks Performance Team this year, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store! 💫

🌟We’re building an even stronger triple-threat foundation, with lots of exciting new opportunities for our performers:

🎤 LCM Singing Exams
🎭 Monologues, scenes & acting exam opportunities
🩰 Ballet & Tap to build strong technical foundations
💃 Continued dance training & performance work
🌟 More performance opportunities at events
🎬 An extra show each year!

And tonight was the perfect way to kick things off!

We worked on solo songs, started learning a brand-new song for our repertoire, tackled monologues, explored characters through hot seating, and created our own characters before putting them into scenes with our partners. 🎭

It was such a fun and productive first class, and we’re already excited for what this team is going to achieve this year!

The standard is being raised, the opportunities are getting bigger, and we’re only getting started! ⭐️

We can’t wait for Monday’s classes! Have a lovely weekend everyone! ✨

✨ BRINGING IT BACK TO OUR SUMMER SHOW ✨

✨ WE ARE SO BACK! ✨

Our first week back at PerformingWorks is officially DONE and it was SO good to have everyone back! 🎭⭐️ We’ve missed you all so much and had the best time getting back to doing what we love! ❤️

🌟 Our Minis took a trip to the swamp! We got into character by acting out making a fire, finding food, setting up camp and getting ready for our adventure… before eventually meeting the one and only Ogre Shrek! 🧅💚

In singing, we continued our Shrek theme and learnt ‘I’m a Believer’ — and we LOVED it! 🎶✨

In dance, we learnt a brand-new routine to Camp Rock and got to completely ROCK OUT! 🎸⭐️ What a way to get back into dancing!

Our ⭐️ Superstar Minis Ballet & Tap girls ⭐️ learnt some exciting new ballet words and put them into practice, before having some fun with a Taylor Swift-inspired dance! 💃✨

💫 Our fabulous Juniors brought ALL the energy! We started acting with a fun imagination warm-up before learning all about what a stimulus is. We then put a scene to music and performed our creations for the other groups — fantastic work, everyone! 🎭👏

In singing, we learnt a fun pop song and added some choreography too! 🎤💃 We finished off with dance, focusing on our technique before beginning a brand-new jazz routine! 🌟

✨ And finally… our amazing Intermediates! ✨

We kicked off with a focus on our dance technique before getting stuck into learning a brand-new lyrical routine. 💃 In singing, we learnt a pop song and added some choreography, before having some fun with a Greatest Showman favourite! 🎪🎶

We finished the night with some fun acting games — the perfect way to end an AMAZING first night back! 🎭⭐️

⭐️ Great work everyone! It was SO good to have you all back. We’ve missed you, and we can’t wait to see what this new term brings! ⭐️

☀️🎭 SUMMER 2026 – WHAT A SUMMER! 🎭☀️

And just like that… our summer schools are wrapped up! 💙✨

Looking back at the past few weeks, we’ve had the BEST time filled with laughter, games, dancing, singing, acting, creativity, friendships and so many amazing memories! 🥰

From Games Day and Outdoor Adventures, to Disney & Musical Theatre Day, PJ & Movie Day, Water Sports and our incredible Annie Musical Week — we’ve packed so much fun into the summer! 🎬🎶💦🎭

A massive THANK YOU to every child who joined us this summer. It has been so lovely watching everyone get involved, make new friends, grow in confidence and most importantly, have FUN! 🌟

And of course, a huge thank you to all of our parents and families for your continued support. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙

We hope you’ve all had an amazing summer and made some wonderful memories that you’ll take with you for years to come. ☀️✨

Now we’re ready to get back to what we love…

🎭✨ Day 5 – The Final Day of Annie Musical Mayhem! ✨🎶

What an AMAZING final day! ❤️

We’ve had an absolute blast this week, and today really was the cherry on top of the cake! 🍒✨

We started the day by running through the show a couple more times in our costumes before making our very own Annie friendship bracelets, each with our character names on them. We wore them for good luck before opening the doors and welcoming our wonderful friends and family to watch everything we’d been working so hard on throughout the week. 💙

The performance was absolutely fantastic, and every single one of you was amazing! 🌟 We are SO proud of you all. You’re absolute superstars, and we couldn’t be prouder! 👏❤️

So many of the children who joined us this week had never done musical theatre before, yet they stepped out with confidence and gave it absolutely everything. That is something to be incredibly proud of, and you all smashed it! 🎭⭐

It’s been such a lovely week, and one of the best parts has been watching new friendships blossom, confidence grow and so many wonderful memories being made. 💙

From rehearsals, team games and making friendship bracelets, to playing hide and seek at lunchtime and everything in between… it’s been a week full of laughter, learning and lots of fun! 🥰

A huge thank you to all of our amazing children and supportive families for making this such a special week. We hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have!

We hope you all have an amazing rest of your summer, and we would love to see you join us at PerformingWorks classes in the future. 🎭💙

🎭✨ Day 4 – Annie Musical Week! ✨🎶

What another amazing day at Annie Camp! 🤩❤️

The excitement is definitely building as we get closer to tomorrow’s performance!

Today we managed an incredible three full run-throughs of the show, giving everyone lots of opportunities to build their confidence and polish their performances. 🌟🎭

We also got into our costumes for the first time and completed our full run in costume! ✨ Seeing everyone in character really brought the show to life, and it’s all coming together so well.

The biggest achievement of the day? We’re officially off script! 🎉👏 The children have worked so hard all week, and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve learned in such a short space of time. We honestly couldn’t be prouder – it’s looking absolutely fantastic! 💙

A huge well done to every single performer for their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication this week. You’re all shining on stage! ⭐

🎭 We can’t wait for our final day tomorrow and are so excited to welcome all of our families to watch everything the children have achieved! It’s going to be the perfect way to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together. ❤️✨

🎭✨ Day 3 – Annie Musical Week! ✨🎶

Day 3 complete… and what another amazing rehearsal we’ve had! 🤩👏

Every single day we are more and more impressed with how well everyone is doing. The progress being made is incredible, and you’re all absolute superstars! ⭐💙

Today was another very busy day! We:

🎭 Completed the staging for the entire show.
💃 Finished learning every dance number.
🎶 Managed a full sing-through of the whole show.
👏 Recapped all of yesterday’s staging and choreography to make everything even stronger.
🎨 Finished the day by making colourful posters and invitations for our display on Friday!

The children are working so hard, supporting one another and growing in confidence every single day. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve achieved in just three days, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🌟

A massive well done to everyone – you’re all absolutely fantastic, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings as we continue putting the finishing touches on the show! 🎭❤️✨

🎭✨ Day 2 – Annie Musical Week! ✨🎶

Wow… what an amazing and busy day we’ve had today! 🤩👏

The excitement was high this morning as we revealed our cast list! 🌟 Everyone has worked so hard and we can’t wait to see each child shine in their role. ❤️

We then got straight to work and had a hugely productive day! Today we:

🎶 Learnt all of the songs from the show… yes, all of them! Including the solos, trios and full company numbers! 🎤

💃 Cleaned and polished ‘It’s the Hard Knock Life’ from yesterday, making it even stronger.

🎭 Learnt brand new dance numbers and continued bringing the show to life with lots of energy and enthusiasm.

🎬 Started staging the show from the very beginning and have already made it halfway through!

We honestly can’t believe how quickly everyone is learning everything. The commitment, focus and confidence the children are showing is incredible, and we are so proud of every single one of them. 🌟

A huge well done to everyone today! You’ve all worked so hard, supported one another and achieved so much in just two days. 👏💙

We can’t wait to see what Day 3 brings! 🎭✨
