THE BALANCE BINGE CARTEL 🛒
Reward or stupidity ?
So you go through Monday to Friday and your on it 👏
You are Making some right good choices and training three / four sessions over 5 days
Sleeping well , hydrated , full of energy
The weekend comes
A night out wi the boys 🍺
A session with the girls 🍷
Your guards down - which it is
It’s likely to be a kebab and chips or a fish supper maybe a single sausage
But that’s ok you have been good all week
You have been controlled all week
Is it f**k ❌
Not every week. 🙄
And that’s just Friday 🤷🏽♂️
What about Saturday 😲
There needs to more control here ⚠️
What you looking for and what are expectations ❓
You have to take a bit of responsibility and make some sacrifices
Don’t make a reward into stupidity in which you f**k up all your weekday work in two / three days
IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THAT WAY

Nope but you are improving week by week
See we can’t fail unless we actually just hit the f**k it button all together
Remember With your new positivity you will be becoming a better partner , parent , friend and wing man 😉 well done
Remember you have more energy and you are sleeping better and less stressed , well done
And with this new energy your probably BETTER IN BED so if nothing else it’s all win win 😇😉

Think about this as you try again ⚠️
You are starting out on a health kick after failed attempts or for the first time
Do you really need someone standing over you as you go through the process ?
The short answer to this is a resounding “ aye mate “
I’ve recently researched 10 previous clients and 7 of them had completely fallen off track
They have now quickly regressed 😢
If you one find someone you trust and respect , they and you RAISE THE BAR
The dialogue , the support , the experience in going through what you are about to
If they are worth there salt = knowing when to push you and pull from you

TIRED OF THE SAME WORKOUTS time after time ?
It’s a knowledge gap ❗️ I get it
I too had that knowledge gap
It was the exact same with Colin🙄
On uncovering his challenges - it was the same workouts every time he went into the gym
He was getting bored with them.
If you get bored it won’t stick.
Treadmill or cross trainer followed by the chest press machine and shoulder press machine , EVERY TIME 🥱
With Colin there was a that knowledge gap in that he wanted to try different things however had no clue where to start
In time … with coaching techniques and confidence building
The Magic started to happen
Colin was bought into me and my style
Not preaching ❌ teaching ✅

key things to consider when hiring trainer / coach to help you with your health and fitness goals 🎯

1. What are your challenges ? Can you solve them yourself ? Why haven’t you before ?
It may be a knowledge gap , what’s the right type of training for you ? Do you struggle with motivation or like being accountable , someone to chip away in your ear 👂 keep you on track

2. Is it economical? Does it fit in with your monthly finances
There is little point in joining a programme for say a month or even two especially if you have the issues explained in point 1 👆🏽

3. Are you fully committed to changing the habits that have not served you well
Are you properly ready to stick to a plan of training and making better choices in the kitchen 🏃🏽♂️ 🍽
If you have challenges you need help with, you have revised your finances and you are properly up for getting the results you need 🎯

I’m meaning some thoughts to consider on managing your meals out 🍽
We all enjoy a meal out with the other half or mates or family, quite right
If you know your out Saturday then it’s advisable that you pull back on calories consumption to allow for the weekend
If you have tracked your calories before you will know what I mean
I advise clients on a daily & weekly calorie target which if you strictly stick to, along with some other measurable’s you will lose or gain weight
So you’ve pulled back on calorie’s midweek and got some in the bank so to speak … BUT
PLEASE REMEMBER if your targets are important and that you have a goal of for example …
🚦Feeling better in your shorts on holiday
🚦Dropping down two sizes for the wedding
🚦Fed up of pulling your leggings up to conceal your unwanted weight
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SMASH A THREE COURSER and you can choose your meal options wisely
Your in control - think targets how serious are you 🤷🏽♂️
Now I’m not saying ask the waiter for a macro nutrient break down of your meal but we can tray be sensible
We all need a wee treat and a meal out and our actions over the course of time outweighs trip to the restaurant now and again
Takeaway ( no pun intended )

🔗Enjoy your meal and you can choose sensibly your the boss
🔗pull back your consumption of food during the week

Heathers progress and comeback from covid
The reality is that covid 19 and lockdowns set back the majority of people 🦠
Heather was in that majority
Clear progress was being made not only physical change
strength progress , consistency , mental health improvements

Never Chipped in the towel
There have been Some barriers thrown up after lockdowns, however heather keeps chipping away
Slowly coming back round to where she was at ,there are clear signs 🪧 of progress
