Hi everyone. The art classes have been busy over the last few months. They have done excellent work that I hope you will enjoy.

Week 2. The Tin Man black and white pencil.
Week 3. Hair up portrait .Charcoal pencil.
Week 4. Cubist coffee pot. Oil pastels.
Week 5.Skin tone pastels.
Week 6. Regency townhouses watercolour.

This week, our focus was on painting Lions in the wild. I'm sure that you will agree, these beautiful creatures have been captured perfectly. Our students worked very hard, it was a challenging week and everyone performed very well. Can't wait to see wehat everyone produces next week. Thanks everyone.

Seasons Art Class Glasgow (Bearsden) are pleased to announce dates for our upcoming new courses starting in October.

The classes are being held in the Bearsden Bowling Club, Station Rd, G61 4AW.

Beginners courses will start on Tuesday 14th of October 2025 from 2pm-5pm.
Returners courses will start on Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th of October 2025 from 10am-1pm.

The returners have just finished week four of the Autumn course. This is what they have been working on.

(Week 1) Pencil and Gouache have been used to create wonderful absracts.
(Week 2) Monochrome/coloured pencil used to capture the charm of urban facades.
(Week 3) Pencil drawing of emu and osrtrich.
(Week 4) Oil pastels being used to create a low tide tranquillity.

I hope you like these as much as I do. It's great work from all the students.

Hi. We have had another great selection of work from our students.
Cheese, Carmen Miranda and cockerels all painted with watercolour!
Cakes, chocolates, birds and violet flowers all with acrylics.

Hi everyone.

Look at the fantastic work the classes have achieved over the last five weeks.
Easter eggs were done with watercolour pencils. The balloons and hot air balloons were either pencil or watercolour pencils.

Dogs with flowers look great in white pencil and colour pencil, there was a great deal of time spent on shadowing.

Week four was a variety of avocado using soft and oil pastels and the cute bunnies of week 5 were oil and soft pastels.

I hope you enjoy looking at the work done. Coming up we have 7 weeks of watercolour and acrylics.

Migrating birds and cats and dogs all done in watercolour.

The classes are doing so well with their work on the Autumn 2023 curriculum.

Figs and partridge in a pear tree, using oil and soft pastels.
Spooky houses so scarily done with pencil. Also pumpkins and bats and witches and skulls, all adding to the mystery of Halloween

We have spaces for a beginners art course in Bearsden starting on the last week of September 2023.
This class goes back to basics.
It begins with three weeks of pencil drawing then two weeks of oil/soft pastels this is followed by three weeks of watercolour and four weeks of acrylics.

If you want to learn how to draw and paint well this is the course for you.
