If I could sit beside the little girl in these photos, I wouldn’t tell her that life will always be easy. Because it won’t.

I would tell her that there will be moments that test her, moments that make her question herself, and moments that break her heart. But I’d also tell her that every one of those experiences will shape the person she becomes.

One day, she’ll become a mummy herself and realise that the greatest privilege in life is being someone’s safe place.

She’ll spend her days supporting exhausted parents, reassuring anxious mums, celebrating tiny victories, and reminding families that they are doing better than they think they are.

She won’t have all the answers, but she’ll never stop learning, training to be the best she can be for the parents she supports. She’ll lead with kindness, compassion and evidence-based support, while always remembering what it feels like to simply need someone to listen.

Looking back, I’m grateful for every lesson, every challenge and every person who believed in me.

Because they helped create The Glasgow Nanny, a safe space where families come exactly as they are and know they’ll be met without judgement.

And to that little girl…

You did it.

And I am so proud of you. 🤍

If you’re reading this and you’re in the middle of a hard season of parenthood, I hope you know this too: you don’t have to do it alone.

Something really special is coming…

After years of supporting families in their homes, I am so excited to officially announce the launch of The Glasgow Nanny Clinic.

A calm, welcoming space where parents can access gentle, evidence-led support for infant feeding, sleep and early parenting, without judgement, pressure or unrealistic expectations.

Because the truth is, so many parents are overwhelmed.
Not because they are doing anything wrong…
But because they are trying to navigate some of the biggest challenges of parenthood whilst running on very little sleep and a lot of conflicting advice.

The Glasgow Nanny Clinic has been created to change that.

This is not about “perfect babies” or rigid routines.
It is about understanding your child, supporting your instincts as a parent, and giving you practical, compassionate guidance that actually feels achievable in real life.

Whether you are struggling with frequent night waking, feeding challenges, nap battles, newborn overwhelm or simply need reassurance and support, you are welcome here.

With 20 years experience supporting families, my approach will always remain gentle, responsive, ethical and centred around the emotional wellbeing of both parent and child.

I genuinely cannot wait to welcome you through the doors and build something that families across Glasgow and beyond can feel safe turning to.

I’m so excited to have the clinic at .me, Gillian was a client of mine years ago. Thank you for helping me make my dream come true.

More details will be announced shortly and details on how to book are on my website.

Thank you for supporting this dream from the very beginning.

My inbox is always open.

I have always had a passion for caring, for the people around me and for children.

When I was little my mum had her own nursery and even as a child my favourite place to be was the baby room.
I did my work experience at school in a nursery, then I tried to rebel and studied marketing at college. It just didn’t click with me.
Then I listened to that inner voice that kept reminding me that childcare was my true passion.

I did my SVQs and haven’t ever looked back, I have kept training, kept learning and kept supporting and caring.

It wasn’t until I had Jessica that I realised how little support there was out there for new parents, especially new mums. It was like someone was gatekeeping everything, so I made it my mission to learn more, so I could support more families.

Now with 20+ years in the childcare industry, with ridiculous number of hours learning and putting my learning into practice. I realised it was time to do something even more meaningful, so I could support even more families when they need it the most.

I can’t wait to share it with you tomorrow ❤️
