🎶 Earlier this week, something special happened at City Halls.

More than 300 children performed ALIVE / Tha Thu Beò live at the CREATE Primary Choir Festival — joined by members of Skipinnish for a sneak preview of the finished video, ahead of tomorrow's citywide premiere.

Now it's the whole city's turn. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This year we received 328 video submissions from 114 schools across Glasgow — and every single one features in the final film. While Scotland's watch parties have taken over screens this week for the World Cup, tomorrow at 9.30am it's Glasgow's schools doing their own — streaming the premiere live in classrooms and assembly halls across the city.

On 4th June, schools from across Glasgow came together to celebrate their commitment to creativity, culture and expressive arts. This year, 24 primary schools achieved the Bronze CREATE Distinguished Schools Award, with more than 5,576 children and young people taking part in CREATE experiences and over 60 staff engaging in professional learning.

The awards recognise schools that place creativity at the heart of learning, promoting inclusion, learner voice, partnership working and high-quality creative opportunities for all.

A huge well done to every school, pupil and member of staff involved in making the first year of the award such a success. 🌟

⭐ Trades House School Craft Competition 2026 ⭐

An inspiring afternoon celebrating all things creative and craft! Congratulations to all of the successful pupils and thank you for continuing to offer this opportunity for schools.

💥 Dance Day 2026 💥

Last week 70 young people worked with the amazing and to develop their dance skills. An inspiring and creative set of workshops which also gave the dancers the chance to hear about the different routes into dance careers and the importance of physical wellbeing.
