Brilliant change here going from a weak slice to a stronger flighted straight shot.

Before:
- steep downswing plane with an open clubface and excessively left path.
- leading to weak slices, tending to miss well right and short of the target

After:
- Downswing more on plane with a more closed clubface and a neutral path
- leading to a straighter ball flight, increased distance and finishing on target.

Short game and wedge practice recently.

We worked on adjustments to make depending on the lie, hole location, green to work with and flight required.
This was followed with performance games to replicate scenarios on course while adding pressure of keeping score.

When making any change to improve a part of your impact conditions or swing, allow yourself to slow down to become more aware of what you’re trying to achieve.

This example was from a lesson to create more clubface awareness to improve the start direction of the ball flight.

Once you have the required feeling, build up speed while trying to produce the desired outcome.

Check-up with working on strike with irons.

Tendency is to fall back, hitting irons thin and right. Worked on getting his upper body more left in the downswing, improving ground contact and allowing for his natural draw.
