Build confidence in their own abilities in a fun way through repetition, reinforcement, games and problem solving. I specialise in affordable, innovative and fun maths lessons for Primaries 5, 6 , 7 & S1 based in Giffnock. I am a primary teacher of 20 years experience and a mother to two boys and know that when maths does not click by P4, a little boost in confidence is all that is needed to bring

out their potential. The best setting I believe is a small, regular group where interaction with peers is stimulating and provides opportunities to make the learning fun. Even for shy children it is a great confidence builder where they can be taught in a positive and rewarding environment sensitive to their needs. I work with groups of usually 4 at a price of £10 per child per session.

Meet the team: Yasmin Flaherty (Registered Veterinary Nurse)

Hi everyone I’m Yasmin! I’m one of the veterinary nurses here at Southside Veterinary Clinic!

I always knew I wanted to care for animals and found my passion when I started working in the veterinary industry 9 years ago, and I have gained great experience dealing with routine cases through to emergency and critical care situations since. Nothing is more rewarding than nursing an animal back to health.

Outside of work I love to go on walks with two lovely Cavachons April and Nudge, and enjoy keeping fit by attending regular gym and Pilates classes.

I really love the friendly and relaxing environment here at Southside Veterinary Clinic. I have been pleased to hear from owners that their pets who are normally nervous at the vets be more at ease here too! I feel as we are such a close knit team the experience is more personal and I have enjoyed being the one to see your pets along the way and properly get to know them!
