Today I hope we can all take time to show love to all the women in the world, especially a little love to ourselves. It has been a challenging year for manys so let's take today to appreciate and enjoy.

GCU Women's Representation & Liberation Group
We are a student led group which is open to all self-identifying women.
We aim to act as a safe space for women, and will promote discussions around gender related issues, liberation campaigns as well as running workshops and events.

Due to huge demand we have added dates for our free forced marriage training, which we provide along with Shakti Women's Aid and Hemat Gryffe Women's Aid.
The training will help attendees understand:
* the cultural context of forced marriage and its links to honour-based violence and domestic abuse
* how the forced marriage legislation, and other laws, can be used to protect children/adults who are at risk of forced marriage
* appropriate responses to identified risk and disclosure of forced marriage
