Pupils in primary 6 enjoyed using concrete materials to help develop their knowledge of fractions.
A huge thank you to all of those who were able to come along to our Book Week Scotland event. Our pupils were so excited to read a story with their families! All pupils in primaries 1-3 should now have received their Bookbug (p1) or Read Write Count (p2 &3) bags. Children in these classes were also given their own Nursery Rhymes booklet as part of Book Week Scotland.
Our pupils in primary 2 enjoyed exploring different concrete resources and pictorial approaches to help them develop their knowledge of number bonds to 20.
A huge thank you to those who have attended our Read Write Count Family Learning workshops. The children enjoyed exploring some of the wonderful books provided by the Scottish Book Trust.
Over the past few weeks pupils across p3-p7 were provided with workshops to help develop their knowledge and understanding of Financial Education. The workshops focussed on skills such as budgeting, saving and making positive choices. We are very grateful to Adam and Jennifer from My Bank for their enthusiasm in delivering these workshops.

I always knew this day would come
We'd be standing one by one
With our future in our hands
So many dreams, so many plans
I always knew after all these years
There'd be laughter, there'd be tears
But never thought I'd walk away
With so much joy, but so much pain
And it's so hard to say "goodbye"
