No Scotland No Party Fun Day Tomorrow at School 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just a reminder that tomorrow the pupils will be celebrating Scotland Day at MVP!

Pupils can come along dressed in Scotland strips, tartan or blue and white clothing or dress-down. 💙🤍

The school have lots of fun football activities planned and there will be Football Themed Inflatables and Scotland Flags for all the children to enjoy, all courtesy of the Parent Council 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks to all our amazing families and local businesses who support our fundraising each year. It’s thanks to your generosity we can organise fun days like this for the children 👏🏻👏🏻

🍦🎧 End of Term Treat! 🎧🍦

As a special treat from the Parent Council before everyone finishes up for the summer break, an ice cream van will be visiting the school on Thursday alongside a silent disco!

We hope all the children enjoy this fun end of term surprise. Please note that this treat is completely free of charge, and dairy-free alternatives will be available for pupils with allergies or intolerances.

Thank you, as always, to all the parents and families for your continued support. Your fundraising and support help us provide great treats, create memories, and invest in valuable resources for our children.

🌟 Join Our Parent Council! 🌟

We’re looking for new members to join our Parent Council for the new term and help with fundraising so our children can enjoy the best possible school experience.

Some of our current Parent Council members will be leaving as their children move on to secondary school, so we’d love to welcome some new faces.

You don’t need to commit a lot of time—every little bit of help makes a huge difference, and many hands make light work! 🙌

What a night! For first-time quiz hosts, we’re absolutely delighted with how successful our Quiz Night turned out. 🎉

A massive thank you to all our PC Ladies for organising such a fantastic evening, and to our brilliant host Stuart for keeping everything running so smoothly 🙌🏻

A huge well done to our Quiz Night Champions, The McBrewsters! 🏆 It was incredibly close competition – especially among the top five teams - truly anyone’s game - but they just pipped The Smartinis to the post with only 3 points in it. The tension was real right to the end!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along, brought their friendly competitive spirit, and supported us. We’re also hugely grateful to our Parent Council and the local businesses who donated so generously on the night 🤗

As always, all funds raised go straight back to the school. This will help fund a Silent Disco for every class and another visit from the Ice Cream van to celebrate the end of term - something the children absolutely love! 🍦

We really hope everyone had a great time. If we have enough members next term, we’d love to run the event again alongside our already popular Bingo Nights.

We’re always looking for new members to join us, so if you’d be interested, please get in touch!

This year, we’re sadly saying goodbye to two long standing members after 7 years of dedication on the Parent Council. They currently hold the roles of Chair and Treasurer, so we’ll be looking to fill these vital positions—we can’t run without them. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! 😢

We are SO excited to see you Friday for our Family Quiz Night – it’s going to be a brilliant evening full of fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! 🎉

To help you get the most out of the night, here’s everything you need to know:

🕒 Event Details

Doors open at 6:30pm – come early, grab a drink, and get settled!
The quiz kicks off around 7:00pm – don’t be late!
We’ll be open until midnight if you fancy making a full night of it

👥 Team Time!

Pick your ultimate team name and reply to the email Claire sent to you as soon as possible with:

Your team name (the more creative, the better!)
Order number
Number of team members (maximum 6)

In a team with friends who booked separately? Let us know their name or order number so we can seat you together.

Flying solo or in a small group? No problem! If you’d like to join forces with others, just tell us and we’ll try match you up.

⭐️ Parents’ Evening Update ⭐️

We hope everyone had a great parents evening!

You may have noticed the Parent Council cafe wasn’t there this time (tea, coffee & cakes ☕🍰). It’s been a really busy week for many of us PC parents with Bannerman football, dance academy trials, school show rehearsels and parents evenings all at once — so we just didn’t have the capacity (parent life 🫠)

We’d love to have it back next time, so if you’d be happy to help, please send us a message or speak to a member of the PC.

Even a small bit of help makes a big difference:
👉 Giving an hour before or after your appointment
👉 Baking or donating cakes
👉 Helping serve teas & coffees
👉 Kids can help alongside parents too

As always, we really appreciate the support — all funds raised go straight back into the school ❤️
