No Scotland No Party Fun Day Tomorrow at School 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just a reminder that tomorrow the pupils will be celebrating Scotland Day at MVP!

Pupils can come along dressed in Scotland strips, tartan or blue and white clothing or dress-down. 💙🤍

The school have lots of fun football activities planned and there will be Football Themed Inflatables and Scotland Flags for all the children to enjoy, all courtesy of the Parent Council 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks to all our amazing families and local businesses who support our fundraising each year. It’s thanks to your generosity we can organise fun days like this for the children 👏🏻👏🏻

🍦🎧 End of Term Treat! 🎧🍦

As a special treat from the Parent Council before everyone finishes up for the summer break, an ice cream van will be visiting the school on Thursday alongside a silent disco!

We hope all the children enjoy this fun end of term surprise. Please note that this treat is completely free of charge, and dairy-free alternatives will be available for pupils with allergies or intolerances.

To help you get the most out of the night, here’s everything you need to know:

🕒 Event Details

Doors open at 6:30pm – come early, grab a drink, and get settled!
The quiz kicks off around 7:00pm – don’t be late!
We’ll be open until midnight if you fancy making a full night of it

👥 Team Time!

Pick your ultimate team name and reply to the email Claire sent to you as soon as possible with:

Your team name (the more creative, the better!)
Order number
Number of team members (maximum 6)

In a team with friends who booked separately? Let us know their name or order number so we can seat you together.

Flying solo or in a small group? No problem! If you’d like to join forces with others, just tell us and we’ll try match you up.

Children are very welcome, and we love seeing everyone join in! We just ask that they are supervised at all times and stay seated during the quiz so everyone can enjoy the game.

There will be a bar open throughout the evening, plus tasty hot dogs, delicious home baking, and snacks available to keep you going.

Nothing beats the buzz of a great Quiz Night. The thrill of a tricky question, the friendly rivalry, the collective groan when you almost got it right!

Our lively quizmaster will have a mix of challenging and hilarious questions for both adults and children and of course a brilliant atmosphere.

⭐️ Parents’ Evening Update ⭐️

We hope everyone had a great parents evening!

You may have noticed the Parent Council cafe wasn’t there this time (tea, coffee & cakes ☕🍰). It’s been a really busy week for many of us PC parents with Bannerman football, dance academy trials, school show rehearsels and parents evenings all at once — so we just didn’t have the capacity (parent life 🫠)

We’d love to have it back next time, so if you’d be happy to help, please send us a message or speak to a member of the PC.

Even a small bit of help makes a big difference:
👉 Giving an hour before or after your appointment
👉 Baking or donating cakes
👉 Helping serve teas & coffees
👉 Kids can help alongside parents too

As always, we really appreciate the support — all funds raised go straight back into the school ❤️
