We have another incredible nomination for this week's community hero! A member got in touch with us and spoke at length about the great work of this individual, so much so that this post doesn't cover the half of it. In short, Judy is a selfless and hardworking woman, who is definitely deserving of this recognition. Congratulations to this week's community hero, Judy Hamill 👏

We have recently installed high-tech heat cameras and heat thermometers. This technology will be hugely beneficial in ensuring the safety of our children, parents/guardians and staff here at Southside Daycare.

We know how tough it was just to keep ourselves entertained during lockdown nevermind children! While we had Tiger King, this article discusses the shows kids watched the most during lockdown and how to strike the right balance between screen time and play time.

We decided to ask parents how their child’s screen time had changed with the closure of schools and lockdown in March. After surveying over 2,000 parents we discovered that nearly two thirds of parents said that their children had been watching more television during the lockdown.
