Here at BALA we are on a mission to increase the number of working class professionals in the industry by ensuring access to high quality training courses and productions. Keeping costs low however limits our ability to pay for the basics of staging a production. A catch 22. Until we can obtain a more substantial and sustainable funding source we will be out and about rattling the tin, hosting pop up events and activities all in aid of building a fund for our students. If you care about the erosion of access to the arts for the working classes maybe this is something you can help us with. Whether that's with a donation or helping with word of mouth we would be incredibly grateful for any and all support!

Donations of any amount are most welcome. £100 or more will qualify for advertisements in our programs, on our socials and on our website. Email for more info:

Venue Hire (most spaces want a minimum of £500 per day)

Costumes

Flyers/Posters

Fringe Festival Fees (if we can raise enough!)

Our 2026 productions are estimated to cost £7000 not including staff fees. Can you help us close that gap?
