What a gorgeous week our Tots have had! ☀️ We’ve been making the most of the beautiful sunshine with lots of outdoor fun. The children enjoyed creating bird feeders for our feathered friends, splashing and playing in the water to keep cool, and had a lovely visit to the library van where they explored lots of exciting books. A week full of learning, creativity, and sunshine-filled smiles! 🐦💦📚
We can’t wait to see what next week brings ❤️

📘📖Today we joined our friends and went to the mobile library to return and pick new books. The children enjoyed the walk to the village taking in the world around us, children asking about the church, shop and butcher’s. The children also on our return to tots popped in to see Mr Ford to arrange a very special surprise!!! So lucky we can share these adversity our amazing Tot’s. 📖📘

What a wonderful week of learning, exploration, and celebration at nursery! 🌞

Our children have enjoyed dressing up and using their imaginations, exploring water play, developing their physical skills through lots of running and active outdoor play, and sharing stories in the fresh air. These experiences help to nurture creativity, communication, confidence, and a love of learning through play.

We also celebrated Helen’s birthday together, making the week extra special! 🎉🎂

Every week brings new opportunities for our children to learn, grow, and create happy memories.

What a lovely week our tots have had before half term 🌿📚🛠️✨

From exploring at forest school and visiting the library van to choose new books, to practising writing their names and becoming little builders in our construction area — it’s been a week full of learning, laughter, and most importantly lots of fun 🥰

We’re so proud of how much they’ve all grown in confidence and creativity this term. Now it’s time for a well deserved half term break! Have a lovely week everyone 💛

Today’s little adventure: a visit to the library van 📚🚌✨

Our tots had the best time climbing aboard the mobile library, carefully picking out their very own books, and getting excited about story time. They all had a good look through the books before choosing which one they were going to borrow and then we headed back up to tots for some yummy snack, a glass of milk, and to share their stories with their friends.

What a fantastic couple of weeks we’ve had at Tots! 🌟

Our little learners have been busy exploring, creating, and having so much fun together. From exciting outdoor adventures to wonderful baking activities, every day has been filled with smiles and discovery.

We’ve loved spending time outside, enjoying nature walks, obstacle courses, and plenty of outdoor fun with our friends. The children showed great teamwork, confidence, and curiosity as they explored the world around them. 🍃☀️

In the kitchen, our budding bakers had an amazing time mixing, measuring, and decorating delicious treats. Baking gave us lots of opportunities to practise listening skills, turn-taking, and of course some fantastic number work as we counted ingredients and measured carefully. 🧁🥄

Creativity has been shining brightly too! The children have enjoyed painting, crafting, building, and imaginative play, using their ideas to make wonderful creations. 🎨✨

We’ve also been working hard on our numbers through games, counting activities, sorting, and problem-solving challenges. It has been lovely to see everyone growing in confidence and enthusiasm while learning through play. 🔢👏

We’ve had such a fun-filled few weeks at Tots! 🌱

The children have been busy learning all about seeds — how they grow, what they need, and will soon be planting some of their very own. Watching their excitement as they care for their plants has been so special. We also planted our own willow, giving the children a hands-on experience with nature and growth 🌿

Alongside our gardening adventures, we’ve been exploring numbers and practising our writing skills, building confidence every day ✏️🔢

Of course, we’ve made the most of the fresh air too, spending lots of time outdoors playing, exploring, and learning through nature ☀️

Such a lovely few weeks full of curiosity, discovery, and smiles
