We're looking for a Blue Health Community Coordinator to help grow our innovative Blue Health Hub at Girvan Harbour.
This is your chance to inspire people to improve their wellbeing through the power of nature, the sea and community. From coastal walks and paddleboarding to wellbeing events and community engagement, no two days will be the same.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the ARIA (Ayrshire Rural & Islands Ambition) fund supported by the Scottish Government for their generous grant award of £20,840.11. This support has enable us to purchase a new fleet of open canoes and paddles along with new quality wetsuits. These are essential as our current equipment has reached the end of its functional life. Thank you for helping us to provide a quality service!

A huge well done to the Harbour group who joined us yesterday — what an amazing effort! 💪
Facing the 100ft abseil is no small challenge, and you did it surrounded by stunning views, fresh air, and a brilliant sense of encouragement for each other.

Moments like these show how powerful nature, adventure, and community can be for our wellbeing. Thank you all for bringing such positivity and courage. 🙌

💙 From heritage to horizons! Carrick Futures invests £246k in ACE to help restore the Girvan Bandstand and fund outdoor learning for every South Carrick primary school. Also supporting the training of a young future outdoor leader. A win for people, place & planet! 🌿 Thank you Carrick Futures for supporting our vision 🙏

Carrick Futures has announced a major investment of £246,346 in Adventure Centre for Education (ACE), a local charity supporting two transformative projects that will benefit thousands of people in Girvan and South Carrick.

🌧️💨 A huge thank you to everyone who braved the wet and blustery weather to join us on our Wellbeing Walk from Girvan to Lendalfoot! Your energy and smiles made it such a memorable day despite the conditions.

This walk was made possible through funding from the Scottish Government’s Community Health and Wellbeing Fund for adults through Voluntary Action South Ayrshire – we’re so grateful for their support in helping us deliver these activities.

A big shout-out as well to the Girvan Community Garden for welcoming us with warmth, lovely food (and shelter!) at the end of the walk – supported by funding from the Girvan Town Team 🙌

Next up: our Girvan to Barr Walk on Sunday 20th September 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
This has been a much-loved annual event and we’re hoping the sun will be shining for us 🤞🌞
