We hope that everyone is having a fantastic holiday. We are looking forward to seeing you all back on Thursday September 3rd. A special welcome to our new Reception intake- we are very excited to have you join us.
***A reminder for our new Reception children only **
Our new Reception children will join us Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September at 8.45 until 12.10. Please drop off at the classroom door and pick up at 12.10 from the office. Don't worry about pre booking hot school dinner for those 2 days as we will ring you to confirm hot choices the day before they start. (However, you may also want to send your little one in with a back- up packed lunch for that week just in case they'd prefer something from home). Then the Reception children will be full time from Monday 7th September- 8.45-3.25.
**All other year groups are business as usual 8.45- 3.30 from the 3rd! **

*SPORTS DAY and FAMILY PICNIC POSTPONED*
As the temperatures continue to soar and the weather warning expanded, we are postponing our Sports day and family picnic tomorrow. The risk to spectators and children is too great and we would hate for anyone to become ill.Despite adaptations to the day's schedule and additional shade, even the morning temperatures look to be very hot. The children can still come to school in their PE kit and please remember to send in a packed lunch if you had not ordered a school prepared packed lunch for your child. We are really disappointed as we know the children were looking forward to this event but for the safety of everyone this is the right decision and look forward to seeing you all on our rearranged date.

School banner all ready for the Year 6 Leavers ceremony in Salisbury Cathedral tomorrow. It's another early start for them as we will be leaving at 8.15.
