Thank you for all of mine and Jenny’s cards, wine 🍷 flowers 🌺 and gifts , what a year our little stars ✨ have had. This year we have said goodbye to little stars ✨ who have been with us since babies and families we have worked with since the very beginning of Stacey’s little stars and we wish them all the best for the future. As we take our well eared break for two weeks we will look forward to welcoming new little stars ✨ in September.

Last week, we proudly supported Child Safety Week, helping to raise awareness of the preventable accidents that sadly kill or seriously injure too many children every year.

Throughout the week, we attended a series of training to enhance our knowledge and shared some resources with parents.

🌟 At Stacey’s Little Stars today, our planned activities went completely out the window… and for a very exciting reason! 🌟

We had lots of brand new resources delivered from Medway Council as part of the wrap around expansion, and both our Big Stars and Little Stars had so much fun helping Stacey sort everything out and explore all the new activities and toys. 😊

The children also enjoyed spending lots of time in the garden testing out some of the new resources, alongside doing a little gardening too 🌱☀️

It’s been a lovely day full of teamwork, exploration, outdoor play and plenty of excitement! 💛

🚀✨ Space Week at Stacey’s Little Stars ✨🚀

This week we’ve been exploring the wonders of space in line with the EYFS through lots of hands-on learning and creativity 🌍🪐⭐

The children have:
🌟 Learned about the planets in our solar system
🌟 Explored how stars are made
🌟 Created their own galaxies and planet Earth using different materials and textures
🌟 Developed pencil control and fine motor skills through themed mark making and creative activities
🌟 Looked at life in space and discovered how astronauts live
🌟 Viewed our world from the International Space Station and talked about what Earth looks like from space 🌎

The children have shown so much curiosity, imagination and creativity throughout the week whilst building communication, understanding of the world and physical development skills 💫

For all our year 6 after schoolies, on Monday you sit your SATs… and Stacey and Jenny wish you all the luck in the world, However…..
SATs don’t measure sports
SATs don’t measure art
SATs don’t measure music
Or the kindness in your heart

SATs don’t see how beautiful you are
And they don’t determine your worth
SATs don’t see the reason you were put upon this earth

SATs don’t see your magic
How you make others smile
SATs don’t time how quickly
You can run a mile

SATs don’t hear your laughter
Or see how far your come
SATs are just the tiniest bit
Of who you really are

So when you sit at that table
With a pencil and the test
SATs arnt who you are
REMEMBER your the best ⭐️

So enjoy the sun this weekend
Don’t stress, or panic
And regardless of the results you get next week your all little stars in our eyes ⭐️

🌼🐣 Half Term Fun at Stacey’s Little Stars 🐣🌼

A little late posting, but we’ve had such a lovely, busy half term! 💛

Our little stars have been enjoying:
🥚 Outdoor Easter egg hunts full of excitement and teamwork
🧺 Picnic trips out to the castle grounds, making the most of the fresh air and sunshine
🌿 Exploring nature, building friendships and creating special memories together

These experiences support so many areas of the EYFS, including Physical Development, Understanding the World, and Personal, Social & Emotional Development 🌟

It’s been wonderful to see the children laughing, exploring and making the most of the outdoors 🌞
