Come and enjoy the work of Phoenix Camera Group at The Gallery, Hempstead Library, in their first public exhibition. The exhibition runs until the end of November and is free to view during library open hours.
The group was formed in 2019 and now meet twice a month at the library, and for days out taking images. New members and all abilities are welcome.

Don't miss the Lila Tapley art exhibition at The Gallery, Hempstead Library.
Lila is a local artist, inspired by simple things around her and the beauty of nature. Her works are on display now until the end of October at The Gallery, Hempstead Library. Hempstead Road, Hempstead. ME7 3QG.

A Taste of Culture !

Experience a musical, culinary and artistic showcase of Medway's worldwide culture in an interactive festival.

Taking place this Thursday , 28th July from 1-6pm at Hempstead Library. A free drop in event for all the family.

New Launch date - Monday 24th October! Owing to unforeseen circumstances - 26th September has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Join us at Hempstead Library for the first meeting of our new Genealogy Group. Trace your ancestors, delve into your past and create your family tree. Your free library membership will give you access to Ancestry software and library wifi which will enable you to research.

These sessions will run every 4th Monday of the month at 10.00am - 12.00pm.

Meet Irina, a Medway archivist, on Monday October 24th, who will provide a guided tour of Ancestry and be happy to answer any queries you may have.

Library computers are available but you are welcome to bring your own devices.

If you are not a member of the library please pop in and see us as it only takes a few minutes to join.

Brilliant Butterflies ! There was some marvellous mask making at Hempstead Library this week. Look out for more crazy crafts at Hempstead this Summer . And don't miss the Summer Reading Challenge , starting in July.

Don't miss our exciting free event this Saturday 21st May at Hempstead Library. Doors open at 2pm for a 2.30pm start.

The event will last approximately one hour. Weather permitting the event will take place outside, in case of rain it will be in our hall.
