Messy hands = happy children 🤎

The sand tray is always a big hit!

Lots of digging, scooping, filling and pouring, with the children completely getting stuck in and enjoying every minute.

Sometimes the simplest activities are the best ones.

We love our sand pit here at Gillingham, and the children definitely do too 🤎

Some days it becomes a castle, an animal, or something completely new from their imagination. Other times, it’s simply about sitting, scooping, pouring and feeling the cool sand between their fingers.

It’s always lovely watching the children work out how to use the different tools, test their ideas and see what they can create. 🪣✨

Just before the summer term came to an end, some of our little ones headed out to the local park for an adventure exploring, running around and making the most of those lovely summer days.

Now the leaves are starting to change and autumn adventures are just around the corner 🍂 What’s your favourite thing about this time of year?

Wow, wow, wow 🌱🍅

Our children love learning about all the different fruits and vegetables that grow around the world, and this was such a lovely one to explore together.

They had the chance to see a cacao bean up close and spot fresh tomatoes growing too !

We’re very lucky to have some seriously green-fingered staff who help make moments like this possible! 🌿💛
