Whilst it is vital to focus on the challenges of the entrance exams, preparation for admissions interviews should not be overlooked. What's more, interview preparation improves general confidence and communication skills; skills that can be carried forward into secondary school life.

As formal examinations begin and in-school assessments are on the horizon, encourage calm positivity and focus. Try and avoid adding to the stress and noise surrounding exams. Often the best thing is to make your child feel heard - especially if they feel things didn't go to plan. Try not to dismiss feelings of anxiety - accept that this is a difficult time and encourage self-belief whenever possible. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and all the very best to all our students.
