👕 Robertswood School Uniform

From September, Robertswood will be introducing changes to our school uniform policy in line with updated government guidance.

To help keep costs down and provide greater flexibility for families, children will only need:
• One branded Robertswood jumper or cardigan
• One branded Robertswood PE top

Simpler, More Affordable Uniform Choices.

All other uniform items can be purchased from a retailer of your choice, provided they meet the school’s colour and style requirements.

We will also be allowing plain black trainers with black soles as part of our everyday uniform, offering a practical and comfortable option for children.

Branded uniform items will continue to be available through PMG Schoolwear. Families can order online via PMG’s Robertswood School page or visit one of their local stores.

Whilst our uniform continues to help foster a sense of belonging and pride in our school community, these changes will make it easier and more affordable for families to prepare for the new school year.

☀️ School’s out for summer!

Can you believe it’s the last day of term today, what an incredible year it’s been. From first days to final celebrations, we’ve made memories, embraced challenges and celebrated so many achievements together. 🎉

A huge thank you to our amazing children, dedicated staff and supportive families for making this year so special.

We wish everyone a wonderful, safe and well-deserved summer break. We can’t wait to welcome you back in September for another fantastic year at Robertswood School. 💙

🏅 What a Sports Day!

Yesterday, our Year 1 - 6 pupils took to the field for a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and house spirit. From races on the track to good old favourites like the egg and spoon race and the sack race, it was wonderful to see every child giving their best and cheering each other on along the way.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers and families for their support, to our PTA for keeping everyone refreshed with cold drinks and snacks throughout the day and to Frank’s Coffee for keeping us all caffeinated! ☕

A brilliant day and a wonderful celebration of The Robertswood Way.

💙 Good Luck, Year 6!

Earlier this week our Year 6 pupils celebrated the end of their Robertswood journey with a wonderful Leavers’ Assembly and an incredible Year 6 production.

On Tuesday, they will come together for their leavers assembly, giving the whole school the opportunity to say thank you, say goodbye and set our Year 6 pupils free for the exciting adventures ahead.

Their production was the perfect way to finish, with every child stepping out of their comfort zone, taking on roles they never imagined and shining on stage. It was a fantastic reminder of how much they have grown in confidence and independence.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Wear your leavers’ hoodies with pride, believe in yourselves and embrace every opportunity that comes your way.

Once part of Robertswood, always part of the Robertswood family. 💙

🎓 Year 2 Graduation

Here are a few photos of some of our Year 2 children before their graduation ceremony, which took place after school today.

The children proudly wore the graduation hats they helped to make and became the proud new owners of their Robertswood ties, ready for the exciting move into Key Stage 2.

Congratulations, Year 2. We hope you enjoy celebrating this special milestone with your families, and we look forward to seeing you continue to grow and thrive in KS2. 💙

🎓 Congratulations, Year 2!

Today we celebrated our wonderful Year 2 pupils as they graduated from Key Stage 1 and looked ahead to their next chapter in Key Stage 2.

As part of the ceremony, each child was presented with their Robertswood tie and proudly wore the graduation caps they had made themselves, marking this special milestone.

Congratulations, Year 2. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all you achieve in KS2. 💙

A huge thank you to Cheeky Wipes - Reusable wipes, period pants, nappies for their incredibly generous donation of period starter kits for our Year 6 pupils.

These thoughtful kits will help support our pupils as part of their PSHE learning, encouraging confidence, wellbeing and open conversations as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
