You have all matured and grown so much!

You really are a great bunch and you should be very proud of all you have achieved here at Gayton, we are all certainly very proud of you.

🌈⚽ Wow – what a fantastic event we had on Friday!

The afternoon kicked off with our very own World Cup-themed festival before everyone took part in our first-ever Gayton Colour Run! The field was filled with colour, laughter, smiles and so much fun from start to finish. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved visit from the ice cream van afterwards! 🍦

A huge thank you to the FrOGS for organising such a brilliant community event and making the day so special. We'd also like to thank everyone who took part and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere.

Each month, our teachers choose very special pupils from each class to be their VIPs (Very Important Pupils) - children who have shown kindness, hard work, teamwork, and a positive attitude both in and out of the classroom. 💫

🌼🐝 A massive thank you to everyone who brought in donations last week. Our bees will be delighted with the wonderful collection of seeds, bee-friendly plants and flowers that were donated. Your generosity will help us continue creating and maintaining habitats that support local pollinators and biodiversity.

We are also delighted to share that this week our Eco Committee gratefully received a cheque from the Northamptonshire Gardens Trust. This generous contribution will help support the ongoing upkeep and development of our Gayton Garden, ensuring it remains a thriving and welcoming space for our wildlife, our children and visitors alike.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our community and local organisations. Together, we are helping to create a greener, more vibrant environment for future generations to enjoy. Thank you for being part of our journey. 🌿💚🐝

🏉 This term, girls in Class 3 have been enjoying rugby sessions led by the Loughborough Lightnings.

These girls-only sessions provide a supportive environment where pupils can build confidence, develop new skills and experience the teamwork, resilience and determination that rugby encourages. Creating opportunities specifically for girls helps to increase participation in sport, empowers pupils to try something new and promotes positive attitudes towards physical activity.

We are so lucky to have the Lightening's coming into school to inspire and coach our pupils, and the girls have loved getting involved each week!

The school equestrian team was out on Saturday 6th June showjumping with yet again fantastic results, coming 1st in the 40cm height jumps with Bella also taking 1st and 2nd individual and Edith taking 5th.

The team with a step up also took an amazing 1st place in the 50cm height class with Matilda taking 2nd place individually, Edith in 9th and Bella in 13th.

Matilda also had a go and got placed with a clear round at the 60cm height class but sadly out the placing in 17th.

These fantastic results mean the team are off to the National Championship Show!!!!

We are so proud of these girls, all different ages from different schools within the federation, turn up to calmly try their best with no pressure but to go have fun and support each other, and they deliver and do the federation proud!

Gayton Open Gardens - A Great Success!

We were delighted to be part of this year's Gayton Open Gardens event and to welcome so many visitors to our school allotment. It was wonderful to see such strong community support and the positive feedback we received was overwhelming.

Visitors were incredibly impressed by the allotment and all that has been achieved. A huge congratulations to the children, whose hard work, dedication and teamwork have created something truly special. You should all be very proud of what you have accomplished!
