So sweet… with just a hint of bittersweet!

While the sunshine may have taken a little break, the fun definitely hasn't!

We’ve swapped the sunny skies for indoor giggles and bright summer vibes. The kids had an absolute blast exploring our orange water sensory play — splashes of color, creativity, and curiosity everywhere!

Who says summer can’t shine indoors?

𝘕𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥.🫶

As a company, Valley Nursery strive to really integrate themselves within the local community, becoming involved in and educating our children on the 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀 philanthropic work which takes place locally.🤝

One 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 charity which consistently proves an 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 source of support for our families and undoubtedly many others too is Love, Amelia💛

For many of our children and families. the prospect of making that 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 leap to school is 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, for others it may prove to be another financial burden.💰

We are therefore 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 to get involved in their 'Back to School' project, collecting the items listed to assist all local families during their transition into/back to school. 📝

We are therefore 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 asking the families to get involved in any way you can, whether this be to 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 any of the listed items or simply 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 and raise awareness of this 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 initiative.‼️

Amy, from South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS trust oral health promotion team came to do some training with our preschool staff on the new supervised toothbrushing scheme.

The purpose of this programme is to improve the oral health of children by increasing their exposure to fluoride through daily toothbrushing within our nursery setting and promoting behavioural and self care skills at home from an early age.

This scheme is for our pre school children and staff will be issuing consent forms to be completed for all children to take part of this scheme, we aim to roll out in September 2025.
