In 1996, a time capsule was buried in the Gateshead village of Kibblesworth; 30 years later the community are coming together to dig it up.

Digital Voice is honoured to help tell its story by creating a film and running workshops with Kibblesworth Academy and at Kibblesworth Millennium Centre. These will help people think about what they’d like to add to a new time capsule - to be buried on the same day the first one is dug up, Sat 24th October.

We’re proud to share the story behind a powerful new smoking cessation video, created through a co-production project with Newcastle City Library.

Digital Voice worked alongside young people from The Lighthouse Project in Byker, The Bostey in Walker, and a group of young smokers aged 16–18 at Newcastle City Library.

Together, they explored the realities of smoking, shared their experiences and helped shape a film designed to speak honestly and authentically to other young people.

The video was launched at Newcastle City Library and will now be shared through social media, online and in schools across the region.

Newcastle City Library asked Digital Voice to do what we do best, work with communities to co-produce videos to raise awareness of the health risks of smoking and va**ng. The aim was to capture their experiences and amplify their voices, helping to reassure and inspire other young people who may be considering accessing support but feel nervous or uncertain about taking that first step. The entire process was professional, engaging, and young person-centred. The young people involved were kept informed every step of the way, ensuring they understood the process and felt comfortable, valued, and empowered to share their stories. Digital Voice created a safe and supportive environment that enabled participants to speak openly and confidently about their experiences."
