Y3 didn't let the pouring rain stop them from enjoying their time up at Vindolanda. They weathered the storm, imagining how Roman soldiers must have felt in weather like that, and they had a great time in the museum. They loved talking to the archaeologists about the finds and about what it was like to be an archaeologist. Ms Gibson said she was so proud of the children's attitudes. Well done to staff and children for making another happy day of wonderful memories, bringing their learning to life.

Hallie thought that maybe we could all do with a little bit of sunshine on these rainy days so is sharing the beautiful sunflower that she has grown over the last few months. She hopes it makes you all smile just as much as it makes her. Thanks Hallie!

Y6 loved sharing their IT skills with Y3. They showed them all the fun that can be had using the VEX equipment, and taught them how to use it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning, communicating clearly, cooperating and having a good time.

Welcome back on this first day of summer. We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Did you know that yesterday was World Bee Day? Our Reception children celebrated by making bee biscuits today. They loved baking and decorating, but they possibly loved eating them even more!
