Janice, one of our Accounts Trainers, completed our 2-day Mental Health First Aid course and shares her experience in this video.

She speaks about the passion and knowledge our trainer Michael brings to the course, and how she was able to connect the learning back to her own classrooms and learners.

From practical tools and guidance to open discussion and a supportive environment, the course gives people the confidence to better understand and support mental health in the workplace and beyond.

We were at Durham Sixth Form Centre yesterday for a lunchtime drop-in session, where Eva and Lewis spoke with students about apprenticeships and the opportunities available through Access Training.

Great to chat with students during their lunch break and support them as they explore their next steps.

We have live Business Administrator apprenticeship vacancies available and are currently recruiting learners to join our upcoming opportunities.

This is a great route for anyone looking to start or progress a career in business administration while earning a salary and gaining a recognised qualification. You’ll develop practical skills in areas such as organisation, communication, IT systems, and day-to-day business support, all while learning on the job.

Our current cohort has already started this week with our trainer Harriet, but we are still able to infill learners through to June – meaning there is still time to apply and secure a place.
