🎶 OUR CHOIR IS BACK WITH A BANG! 🎶

The shower singing is over, folks. It’s time to take those vocals out into the wild... because Side By Side Arts Choir is back on Wednesday 9 September! 💥

Ever fancied singing in a choir but thought, “I’m not really a singer” or “I’d be terrified”? GOOD NEWS: none of that matters here. 🙌

No need to be the next Beyonce or Celine Dion! Just turn up, have a go and enjoy the feel-good magic of singing together. 💜

We’re always happy to welcome new members, so if you fancy joining a lovely bunch of people, learning some great songs and having a proper canny singalong, this is your sign.

Access to the performing arts matters opportunities really matters!

People deserve opportunities to learn, perform and be creative and we want to expand the number of scholarships we can offer!

Exciting Saltwell Park news!

Coming soon to Saltwell Park!🛝

We are investing in a brand-new junior play area at Saltwell Park, which will be installed this autumn, and are excited to share what it will look like.

The new play equipment will include:

- a 9 metre tower to encourage more adventurous play
- lots of ground level activities to help younger children and those less confident to get involved
- quieter areas to help children take time way from busier areas of the park if needed.

With funding from the UK Government's Pride in Place Impact Fund, we have worked with playground and outdoor fitness designer and manufacturer KOMPAN, to create something ambitious, adventurous and memorable for Gateshead - a true centrepiece for Saltwell Park.
