🎉 We're over the moon to announce that our Rap Club collection, created in collaboration with Rap Club and Spit Game, has been nominated for Outstanding Music Education Resource at the Music & Drama Education Awards 2027.

Designed for KS2, the collection helps teachers bring rap writing into the classroom through artist-led videos, printable worksheets, a whole-school assembly plan and a six-lesson teaching unit.

The resource has been developed with rap practitioners and features contributions from young artists, giving pupils the chance to explore rhyme, rhythm, flow, lyric writing and performance through authentic creative practice.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life.💙

We're excited to launch a new series of expert-led online webinars designed to support music educators, singing leaders and practitioners.

First up, we're delighted to welcome neuro-inclusion specialist Jess Meredith from Differing Minds for:

Rethinking engagement in music: supporting neurodivergent learners

Discover flexible teaching approaches and fresh perspectives on engagement in the music classroom. Drawing on her work creating more inclusive environments where people can thrive, Jess will share practical ideas to help support participation and engagement through music.

The webinar will be facilitated by Émilie Bels, Sing Up's Hub Partnerships Manager, who will draw on her experience as a vocal leader and educator to connect these ideas to real-world music teaching.

We thought we'd take the opportunity to highlight our lovely collection of BSL and Makaton videos ready for you to try with your pupils.

From much-loved classics like Bob Marley's Three Little Birds to our annual Sing Up Day songs, these resources help make singing more accessible, inclusive and engaging for every child.
