Our passion for progress - B-Skill’s programmes help young learners move in to further education; around 65% of those completing their Foundation Level choose to do this. B-Skill and hvoss are recruiting a Youth Support Worker Apprentice in Hereford, Herefordshire. Build positive relationships with young people aged 11–25, support inclusive community activities and help young people’s voices shape local services.

Earn £24,454 a year while working towards a Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship and Diploma in Youth Work Practice. 🚨 We’re Hiring: Youth Support Worker Learning & Development Coach/Tutor

B-Skill Ltd is looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship Learning & Development Coach/Tutor to join its growing team.

📍 Location: Remote/Home-based, with occasional travel to employer sites

💼 Job type: Full-time or part-time

💰 Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per year

🕘 Working pattern: Flexible hours

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to Youth Support Worker apprentices, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to successfully complete their apprenticeship.

Key requirements:

~ Experience delivering the Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard

~ Degree in Youth Work or Youth Support Work

~ A1 Assessor Award, TAQA or equivalent

~ Teaching qualification, such as AET or Cert Ed, desirable

~ Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, EPA processes and Ofsted requirements

~ Experience using e-portfolios and Microsoft Office

~ Understanding of safeguarding, Prevent, equality and diversity

~ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

~ Eligibility to live and work in the UK

~ Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check

Thinking about recruiting a young apprentice? Now is the time to start the conversation.

From 1 October 2026, eligible non-levy employers can be considered for the £2,000 Apprenticeship Hiring Payment when recruiting a new apprentice aged 16–24, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria.

The payment isn't made immediately. It is paid in two £1,000 instalments, with payments linked to the apprentice remaining employed and in their apprenticeship. The first payment is due after 90 days, with the second after one year (or 242 days for eligible shorter apprenticeships).

So, if you're considering recruiting, starting the process now could put your business in a position to access the support when eligible.
