We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break! ๐ฐ
We had a fantastic last day across the Federation, celebrating our egg and spoon and egg rolling champions and having a delightful time egg hunting!
Well done to our amazing half term attendance winners, who have all achieved an impressive attendance of 95% and aboveโ with some even hitting 100%!
Good attendance is so important to help your child reach their full potential. We look forward to welcoming all our children back on Monday morning.

A fantastic performance from our football team in the first match since the winter. We are immensely grateful to RACA and our intrepid band of volunteers who worked in chilly temperatures to build our new goals - it is very much appreciated!

World Book Day Fun in Year 3/4JP

Yesterday in Science, 6ESA had a hands-on lesson creating models of blood using Cheerios, marshmallows and food colouring! ๐งช๐ฌ Everyone worked brilliantly to represent the different components of blood and had lots of fun learning how it all works together inside our bodies.

Happy World Book Day from Year 6ESA! ๐
We dressed up as our favourite book characters, including The Demon Dentist, Harry Potter and characters from Holes. In class, we read Gorilla by Anthony Browne and created mirror drawings of half a gorilla.
We also enjoyed sharing picture books with the Reception children and listening to a story read by one of our parents. A great day celebrating our love of reading! ๐

Every year operates a winter maintenance fleet that grits over 320 miles of our roads to keep us safe. As part of the 'Love where you live' project, our Infant and Junior School submitted a name for one of their gritters and we won. Hopefully the weather won't get below freezing anytime soon but when it does, make sure you wave at the GRITch!
Thank you Gateshead's communication and environmental Teams for bringing the Gritch gritter to our school.

๐ 6ESA have had a wonderful final week of term! ๐
We created a calendar inspired by The Wave by the Japanese artist Hokusai, made scientific Christmas cards using salt to explore hydrophobic materials, and designed and made our own felt Christmas decorations- showcasing some fantastic sewing skills ๐งตโจ
A massive thank you to all the helpers who came in to support us with the sewing. We couldnโt have done it without you!
What a brilliant way to end the term ๐
