Weโ€™ve been out exploring with our baskets hunting for signs of Autumn!

We talked about the changing colours, smells, and trying different textures and tastes. Weโ€™ve worked our hand muscles by carefully opening conker cases, scooping and pouring activities, and painting the falling leaves using different tools.

Yes!
And we wouldnโ€™t change it for the world.

Weโ€™ve been a bit quiet on socials as we have been getting to know our new cohort giving lots of love and attention.

Slowly and steadily we are all bonding as a Little Risers family and we are finding out how our new little personalities fit within our setting.

Thank you Little Risers for an amazing year of adventures, magical moments and belly laughs! It has been an absolute pleasure and a joy to share your early years journey.

We havenโ€™t read the cards yet from all our โ€œgraduatesโ€ (because we just arenโ€™t emotionally ready) but thank you to all our parents from the bottom of our hearts for your kind gifts and cards.

We are ready for a big rest but very excited for September!

Stepping back in time in every sense of the wordโ€ฆ

As we visit all our favourite places together one last time, I canโ€™t help get quite emotional about my first cohort all growing up and moving on to their exciting new chapter!

I have loved being such a big part of their journey. โค๏ธ

The gang headed off this week to the farm to pick some juicy strawberries.
We even took one of our new Little Risers with us on his first adventure with his new friends!

๐Ÿ“Building independence by everyone being responsible for their own basket and harvest.
๐Ÿ“Developing our fine motor skills as we learnt how to carefully pick the fruit.
๐Ÿ“Chatting and learning about where our food comes from.
