In anticipation of their upcoming work experience week in July, our Year 10 students are attending their latest briefing from our Careers Lead before they sample their first taste of the world of work. They're very excited!

Our corridors smell amazing as our Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students work hard in the kitchen on their non-exam assessment (NEA) practical task as they make delicious fresh pizza with dressed salad, and some yummy cookies. Great job everyone!

The sky was the limit for our Year 9, 10 and 12 students who attended the North East Space Event with the Newcastle University Rocketry Society last week. They enjoyed some taster sessions of their space studies related courses and clubs available including rocket design, aerospace engineering, drone capture systems and astronomy. They also learned about possible career paths with Openworks and Airbus. A great day was had by all! 🚀🚀🚀

Good luck to our Year 7 and 8 cricketers who are playing in an inter-school tournament today at Whickham Cricket Club. Hit it for six Team Kingsmeadow!

Our Drama Club is proud to announce that its next production will be the of the hit film and stage show 'Matilda'. Our students are working hard as they prepare for their desired role in our auditions on Wednesday 1 July. There's still time for students to enrol to Drama Club with Miss Moore, and take part in what will be an amazing show. All students are welcome!
