What a week we have had when the Superhero’s visited Spring Leam Lane.🦸‍♂️


🦸‍♂️It all started when the children found the Superhero's had been captured and tied up, the children had to cut them free so they could save the world.
🦈They helped protect everyone from shark infested water and a giant crocodile.
🌕They took a trip to space where they were captured again and wrapped in space juice, luckily Bill and Jean from the Smeds and the Smoos were there to help rescue them.
🫗The children made sure they had plenty of water to drink…..saving the world in this weather is thirsty work.
🧺They also made sure the Superhero’s kept up there energy by having Superhero Picnic, did you know Ironman's favourite food is pizza and Spider-Man’s loves apple? 🍎🍕
🕸Spider-Man also made an appearance and joined in with Boogie Mites as he loves to dance. The children and staff have loved having them visit and we hope they come back again soon.

Our Explorer’s don’t just like a little bit of playdough they like a lot and this time we popped it on the floor.
The were engaged for quite some time developing their fine motor skills by poking, pulling, pinching, pressing and stretching the dough.
They also made lots of marks with the materials provided 💜🌷.

There were lots of ooo’s and ahh’s from the children today when we visited the centre’s new sensory room.
The children described it as “new”, “fun”, “just like a soft play”, and “amazing”.

We are so pleased we were able to work with the Family Hub at Leam Lane to provide this for our children.

Today we said a sad farewell to Jerome.

I’m sure you will agree with us when we say Jerome will be a huge miss at Spring Leam Lane even though we know he won’t be a stranger.

We are thrilled to say that we have been working in partnership with Leam Lane Family Hub to help revamp the centres sensory room.

Spring Leam Lane have been able to fund new resources which will have a huge impact on how the sensory room is used going forward, creating a calming and engaging space.

The sensory will be open tomorrow, please pop along to take a look, this is such a fantastic contribution to the community as it can be used by all.

The world cup has been rubbing off on our little ones, they have been chanting England songs and telling us 'its coming home'. The children have been wearing their England strips to Nursery on each of their previous games, we have done the same again today hoping this brings England good luck tonight.🥇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

These guys really are the glue that hold it all together. 🌈

This week we have shared what brings us peace and happiness and for most of us it is the little things. 💛

The staff enjoyed receiving some chocolate and some positive affirmations, reminding them how amazing they are. ☺️
