What a fantastic start to the new term in Teddies! 🌟

The children have settled in beautifully and have been busy exploring the preschool room, learning where everything belongs and getting used to our routines.

We have made the most of the garden too, enjoying our mud kitchen and using the large outdoor scales to weigh and compare different objects. ⚖️

The children have also been using bears to compare sizes and ten frames to support their counting. 🐻🔢

It has been lovely to see new friendships beginning to form and the children getting to know their key workers.

Next week, we begin our All About Me Learning Adventure, and we can’t wait to learn even more about what makes each of our Teddies so special. 💛

🌟 Our First Week at Nursery 🌟

What a wonderful first week we have had in our panda cubs room! It has been lovely getting to know all of our little ones and watching them begin to feel comfortable and settled in their new nursery environment.

Throughout the week, we have been busy creating special bonds with the children, offering lots of cuddles, reassurance and smiles as they settle into their new routines. It has been so lovely seeing their little personalities begin to shine through!

We have enjoyed lots of stories, songs and nursery rhymes, creating opportunities for the children to explore sounds, movements and new experiences together. 📚🎶

We are so proud of how well everyone has settled and are looking forward to another fun-filled week of learning, exploring, playing and making memories together! 🌈💛

🐼 What a wonderful start to the new term in Pandas!

It has been lovely welcoming our old and new Pandas back to nursery, hearing about their summer adventures and introducing them to our newly improved Panda Room.

This week has focused on helping everyone feel safe, happy and settled, while building confidence and independence. 💛

The children have enjoyed lots of creative activities, including exploring paint on tin foil 🎨, practising cutting skills with colourful scissors ✂️ and working together to create our very own Cromer logo collage using colourful tissue paper. 🌈

We are so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to watch our Pandas’ confidence, personalities and interests continue to grow! 🐼✨

🎉 What a way to celebrate Party Week at Cromer Childcare! 🎉

This week, we celebrated with many of our term-time children before they begin their summer holidays, and what a week it has been!

🍦 Monday saw the opening of our very own Ice Cream Shop, where every child enjoyed choosing their favourite ice cream and adding lots of delicious toppings.

🏅 Tuesday was our annual Sports Day. The children had an amazing time taking part in races and activities, showing fantastic determination, teamwork and lots of smiles along the way.

🧸 Wednesday we enjoyed our Teddy Bears' Picnic, with lots of special cuddly friends joining us for a day of songs, games and fun.

🎭 Thursday was packed with celebrations! Our wonderful Pre-School children amazed everyone with their Leavers' Show in the morning before every room enjoyed an afternoon party full of music, dancing and laughter.

Our Pre-School leavers then received the surprise of a lifetime when Ana, Elsa, Spiderman, Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch and Ariel arrived to celebrate with them! ✨ Ariel also took time to visit our younger children, sharing a magical dance to Under the Sea, which brought huge smiles to so many little faces. 🧜‍♀️💙

To all of our amazing families, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We have been overwhelmed by your thoughtful gifts, beautiful cards and kind messages—they truly mean the world to every member of our team. ❤️

Although many of our term-time children are now enjoying their summer break, Cromer Childcare is open all year round, and we can't wait to continue making lots of wonderful memories with our children attending throughout the holidays.
To our amazing Pre-School leavers, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Good luck on your next adventure—you will always be part of the Cromer Childcare family. 🌟

💙 We Did It! 💙

What an incredible day! We are so proud to say that we completed the Muddy Run today, and thanks to the amazing generosity of our family, friends, parents, and supporters, we have now raised over £1,000! 🎉

Thank you to every single person who donated, shared our fundraiser, cheered us on, or supported us along the way. Your kindness and generosity have helped us raise an amazing amount for such a worthwhile cause, and we are truly grateful.

There were plenty of laughs, lots of mud, and a few tired legs, but knowing we were doing it for such an important cause made every obstacle worthwhile.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us make a difference. We couldn’t have done it without you all!!💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🩵

☀️ Summer Fun in Teddies! 🌊🐠
Our Teddies have had another fantastic week exploring our summer theme while making the most of the beautiful sunshine! 🌞

The children loved running their very own lemonade stand, using sliced lemons and water to make refreshing drinks, with acorns as payment. 🍋💰 It was a wonderful opportunity for imaginative role play, communication and early maths skills.

We also explored a beach-themed tuff tray 🏖️, created beautiful sparkly fish collages 🐠✨ and got wonderfully messy investigating our under-the-sea gloop sensory tray. 🌊🫧

To help keep cool in the warm weather, we enjoyed plenty of outdoor play and finished off with delicious ice lollies. 🍦😎

It's been another week full of creativity, exploration and summer fun, and we're looking forward to celebrating together at our end-of-term party next week! 🎉💙

☀️ Summer Fun in the Panda Room! 🐼
Our Pandas have had a fantastic week exploring all things summer! 🌊🏖️

The children created their own beach scenes using gloop, Weetabix "sand", blue tissue paper and Rice Krispies to represent the sea. They also got creative by making colourful jellyfish 🪼 and watermelon 🍉 crafts.

We finished the week with an exciting minibeast hunt, using magnifying glasses 🔍 and tweezers to search for bugs before ticking them off on our checklist. 🐞🐜

It's been another fun-filled week of exploring, creating and learning, and we're all looking forward to celebrating together at our end-of-term party next week! 🎉☀️

Our Panda Cubs have had another wonderful week exploring our summer theme while making the most of the beautiful sunshine! 🌞💦

To keep cool, the children enjoyed lots of water play, taking special care of our baby dolls by gently washing and looking after them. 👶🛁 This built on their favourite role-play activities of feeding and putting their babies to bed.

We also got wonderfully messy exploring a summer tuff tray filled with blue jelly, custard and crushed biscuits to create a seaside scene! 🌊🏖️ The children loved investigating the different textures and even enjoyed tasting the edible sensory materials.

Another favourite activity was creating colourful patterns using pasta and paint. 🎨 As we explored, we practised saying the words "green" 💚 and "sun" ☀️, helping to develop our early language skills through play.

It's been a fantastic week full of sensory exploration, imaginative play, language development and lots of summer fun. We can't wait to celebrate together at our end-of-term party next week! 🎉😊

🦋☀️ What a fantastic week we've had in Pandas! ☀️🦋

We started the week with a very exciting moment as we watched our 5 butterflies spread their wings and fly free! 🐛➡️🦋 The children loved learning all about the butterfly life cycle and were amazed to see the transformation.

Our Summer theme continued with lots of fun, creative and messy activities! 🎨😎 We decorated sunglasses, created beautiful beach scenes 🏖️, designed our favourite ice lollies 🍦 and explored our senses at the lemonade stand 🍋.

Our seaside sensory tuff tray 🌊 was a huge hit, with blue gloop, sand and pebbles providing lots of messy fun and exploration!

🌬️ Yesterday, we also took advantage of the windy weather with some in-the-moment planning and made our very own kites! 🪁 The children had so much fun running around the garden, laughing as they watched their colourful kites fly high in the wind. It was a wonderful opportunity to combine outdoor play with learning through the children's interests.

What a brilliant week full of laughter, creativity and Summer fun! We can't wait to see what adventures next week brings! 💛🌞
