A huge thank you to everyone for going above and beyond for my retirement this week. I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and love shown by so many people. The 14 years I’ve spent at GCPS have been so incredibly happy and it has been a true privilege to lead such an incredible school family.

Willow Class had an amazing morning with the Creepy Crawly Roadshow. We met loads of interesting creatures and tested our bravery holding some of them. We had giant hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, an albino African land snail (it was only a baby), a giant spikey stick insect, a python and a 'big spider' (not a tranatula). We were so impressed with how calm the children (and adults) were and how some people got up and faced their fears! Well done everyone!

A fantastic day at the Flower Bowl yesterday for Oak class where they watched Toy Story 5, followed by lunch, followed by curling.

What a wonderful day the children in Beech Class had at Hutton Roof! The weather was superb and the children were brilliant. The walk was lovely, the climbing was great and the scenery was stunning! They showed excellent attitude and resilience throughout the day and some children really pushed themselves beyond their comfort zone. Great job everyone! 😁
