📚Revision time!📖
I have had lots of requests from students and parents on how to structure this time between the end of term and exams beginning. Last year, I ran this webinar giving advice around tackling the approach to exams and thought I would reshare *FREE* for a limited time! 🆓

The webinar covers aspects such as organising a revision timetable, traffic lighting areas of revision, strategies to support revision across different subjects and links to useful websites/apps. It is not English/Modern Languages specific however much of it is tailored to the SQA/new Qualifications Scotland exams. Some advice will support learners doing other exam systems.

‘What you doing, Franny?’ Is what I imagine my girl would be asking me here if she could speak. The answer would be hanging in there until the Easter holidays but also gearing up for the busiest time of the year for a tutor! Delighted that so many of you have got yourselves booked in for revision sessions over these coming weeks before the Qualifications Scotland and GCSE exams begin. We’ve got this 💪 just a couple of quick reminders to help make things flow during this busy period:

* Please give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a session due to holidays/exams/illness etc
* Please be on time to your session - I have very little flexibility between sessions at this time of year so make sure you maximise your time!
* Communicate what you’d like to cover in a session ahead of time wherever possible - this allows me to plan your content and resources in advance which saves time but also means you get the best preparation!
* Try to complete suggested tasks between sessions - these will always be tailored to your needs and goals and will ensure our next session can flow on from there.
* Keep your eyes peeled for helpful tips/resources I will be sharing over the next few weeks. I am a rubbish content creator but will do my best to be more consistent!

Hello! Sorry it’s been so quiet over here. I have been busy in the background developing content for my new website and wants to share a snippet of what you can expect from that, especially as we approach crunch time for revision. Happy New Year! It’s been a very quiet time on this account for lots of reasons but 2026 is a big year for FWED. First of all, I’m really excited to announce that I will have a brand new website to launch this year which will be bigger and better than ever! Happy Easter holidays! If you would like a personalised revision plan for any aspect of your N5/Higher/Advanced Higher English exam or N5/Higher Spanish exam, please get in touch.
