It is World Book Day this Thursday and we are encouraging children to dress up as their favourite book characters and bring in their favourite books to nursery to celebrate! We can't wait to see their outfits!

The children had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day yesterday.
They created their very own Hungry Caterpillar's using cucumber and tomatoes and decorated some biscuits.

Home is where the start is: Communication counts
is a free online family festival which celebrates the role of parents and carers as their child’s first and most enduring educator.
During this virtual family event, which is aimed at parents and carers of under-fives, early development experts will share information and advice about how parents and carers can support children’s learning and development at home.

Activities will include sessions on bilingualism, Makaton and music, movement, rhythm and rhyme and much, much more.

The three-day online festival will run from Thursday 22 February to Saturday 24 February, and families can book to attend as many or as few free sessions as they like.
