What an enjoyable week! Year 1s had a superhero themed day, dressing as their superhero aliases!

Over the last few weeks, they have: written superhero stories, descriptions of villains and heroes, created their own heroes, made masks, capes, cuffs and utility belts, created shape heroes using a paint program and mich more!! 😲👏

This work culminated in a superhero initiation day, which involved testing their strength, agility, memory, sight and intelligence!

I am proud to announce all have become fully fledged superheroes!!!

Well, that's the end of the term, and we had a really enjoyable last week.
We held a spring craft afternoon, which involved:
🐥 wooden chicken and bunny decorations
🐥 decorated biscuits
🐥 twine bunnies
🐥 Scratch games created by the Y6
🐥 pipecleaner bunny ears
🐥 egg hunts

Phew!! It was busy but really enjoyable, both children and teachers had a great afternoon !

Back in Autumn Term, Year 1 and Year 2 visited the Gainsborough Heritage Centre. The children were able to learn about what lives were like in the 20th century. They went to the Post Office to deliver some postcards, paid with money in the shop and looked at what toys they used to play with. They all had an amazing time!

Thank you to Mrs Raisborough for organising the visit and thank you to the Heritage Centre for having us!
