This week in pictures 📸 Thank you as always to everyone who joined in a class with me and a big big thank you to my private clients for understanding me having to cancel our Tuesday session.
Don't forget there's no classes on bank holiday Monday, hope you all have a great long weekend.

Brontë loves Wednesdays as it means she gets to come to work with me. She loves her ladies and makes sure not to leave anyone out. All her ladies get individual attention, and they all love her back, often bringing her treats. This photo taken before we started today sums them all up, friendship, trust and loyalty.

We feel up against it most days, but the odd day we get where we see minimum to no triggers and able to have a run together always makes it worthwhile.
How is this related to yoga? Our yoga practise teaches us how to cope in the real world when things get hard. Unable to get that knees chest chin or to be able to hold that plank, that one stretch no matter how many times you practise it seems to stay the same. We don't see the little improvements with each practise but they are there if we keep trying. The willingness to come back to it time and again, to try again. That's how it also relates to rewiring our rescue dog's brain, helping her navigate a scary world, to not need to react to every dog she deems a threat to her space. It's hard work, it's constant, it's not linear and neither is your yoga practise. Some days we learn, something clicks, and other days we have to manage a situation we've found ourselves in and just go home! Rescue dogs are hard but extremely rewarding, yoga is hard in kt's own way yet rewarding and I don't mean the hard poses I mean hard to get to class when all you want to do is stay home but we can't learn and grow from it if we always put it off until next time.
As they say, feel the fear and do it anyway.
