Training sessions will be facilitated by our fully qualified coach Nathan

Where it first started… to where it ends. The end of this season we say goodbye to coach Sean after many years with the team.

The parents and the children just want to say a massive thank you to Sean for all he has done for the team over the years! Your support didn’t go unnoticed 💙💛

Although we loose Sean as a coach, he returns to the parents side so it’s not goodbye forever!

Well done to our u11 team yesterday👏⚽️

🏆Kirton Lindsey Rangers under 11 plate winners at Scotter Tournament🏆🎉

The boys battled hard, with some brilliant goals scored in quick 8 minute games with very quick turnarounds. They started to play as we know they can, luckily the rain held off and the boys were able to get the results they needed to get themselves through to the semi final, and after a goalless draw it ended in the dreaded penalties. The boys were calm and confident and managed to bury their penalties until it got to sudden death, a brilliant save by Alex H our keeper meant they made it through to the final!

After going 1-0 up from a great strike by Bradders in the last minute of the game, Caistor managed to bag the equaliser, meaning for the second time today they were off to penalties! (That went on longer than the actual game 😂) ending again in sudden death! Alex saved some brilliant strikes and the boys once again managed to get the result!

A great performance from them all and memories to last a lifetime 🔵🟡⚽️

Today marked the end of an era for KLJFC!

KLJFC has used the Tighe field as their winter training ground for many years, thanks to the generosity of the Tighe family.

KLJFC moved their winter training to all weather pitches in October 2025, and today, the floodlights have been removed!

The club would like to thank the Tighe family for the use of the field, Dave Capell for cutting the grass and Mountain Ash Tree Care for the superb job of cutting the hedges.

Second tournament of the year!

Despite going into the tournament with just seven players and no substitutes, the team showed incredible determination and resilience throughout the day. They played with heart, fought for every ball, and worked tirelessly for one another, finishing top of their group which is a fantastic achievement, especially as they were playing a year up! In the final, they played some outstanding football and gave absolutely everything, battling right to the very end. Although the result didn’t go their way, their effort, teamwork, and spirit were something to be truly proud of 💙💛

🔵🟡⚽️Under 8’s Season Summary⚽️🟡🔵

It’s only when you look back do you realise how far you’ve traveled and in the case of the Kirton under 8s, we would need to borrow the Hubble telescope to see our starting point.

We have come from complete pandaemonium and whaling confusion for set pieces, to eager and quick transitions.

From the spacial and positional awareness comparable to a box of frogs, to scanning and anticipating.

From a group of individuals to a team that keeps on improving and making us all proud. We’re proud of how far we have come and excited for the potential in coming seasons.

Well done to our under 8’s team👏
