Thomas Glen, from Scorpion Taekwondo, has been in touch and shared some exciting news about some of our pupils with our team! Four of our pupil recently competed 1-2-1 at Barnsley Metrodome and they all did us proud!
Thomas told us that:
"Elliot W - 🥇
Elliot took control from the start using his stab to set up high for 3 points. Elliot is the most experienced and set a good example for others to follow. Elliot won both rounds.
Maksim K - 🥇
This was Maksim's first ever match and he didn’t disappoint - using his reach to keep his opponent at bay! Maksim expressed his self very well and with confidence. Maksim also won both his rounds.
Dillon N -🥈
This was Dillon's first ever match and he had a very tough opponent but he did not disappoint. He displayed a good variation of kicks and there were loads of positives to take away. Well done Dillon!
Daniel K - 🥇🥇
This was Daniel’s first time on the mats and WOW... Daniel had 4 rounds on the day and won them all in style. The first three, Daniel 12 point gapped - which is a stoppage!
All four boys have banked amazing experience and evolved as a team, but most of all friends. White's Wood should be so PROUD!
