🌞 The day is finally here – our last school day before the summer holidays! 🌞

What an incredible year it has been.

We are so proud of every single child at Morton Trentside Primary School and all that they have achieved this year. From learning new skills and making wonderful memories to showing kindness, resilience and determination, they have all given us so many reasons to smile.

We hope you all have a fantastic summer filled with fun, laughter and special moments with your families. We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when we welcome you back in September.

And finally, a very special goodbye to our amazing Class of 2026. As you begin your next chapter, remember to believe in yourselves, be proud of how far you’ve come, and never stop reaching for your dreams. We wish you every success and happiness for the future—you will always be part of the Morton Trentside family. 💙

☀️🐷 What a fantastic day our EYFS children have had at Pink Pig Farm! 🐐🚜💦

Our children enjoyed an amazing day in the sunshine, making wonderful memories with their friends. They loved meeting lots of different animals, zooming down the toboggan runs, climbing and exploring the play areas, cooling off in the water play, and, most importantly, having lots of fun together!

We are so proud of how well the children behaved throughout the day and how enthusiastically they embraced every activity. We're sure they'll all sleep very well tonight... along with the adults who went with them! 😴😊

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers who gave up their time to accompany us today. Your support made the trip possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your help.

Thank you for making it such a memorable day for our EYFS children! 💛

Murton Park 2026 – Year 3 & Year 4

The children had a truly wonderful day at Murton Park, bringing their learning on the Romans and Vikings to life.

Throughout the visit, they immersed themselves in history by exploring authentic settings, taking part in hands-on activities, and discovering what life was like during these fascinating periods. From training as Roman soldiers to experiencing Viking village life, the children showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent behaviour.

It was a memorable day filled with learning, laughter, and new experiences for everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to our lovely Miss Turver, who is getting married this weekend! 💍✨

Our EYFS children had a brilliant time celebrating the upcoming wedding with a special afternoon tea out in the sunshine yesterday afternoon. ☀️🫖💐

We wish Miss Turver and her partner a lifetime of happiness together and cannot wait to welcome back Mrs Taylor after half term! ❤️
