Some of our Y5s and 6s had a great day at the Houses of Parliament today. We got to explore the Palace of Westminster with a tour and learnt all about the House of Lords, House of Commons and the role of the Monarch. It was Prime Minister’s Questions today so there were lots of MPs, press and police officers all around.

We then took part in a workshop which explored how laws are made. We even got to do a spot of sight seeing on the way back to the coach. The children were fabulous role models and represented our school fantastically. Thank you to our staff, volunteers and all the children for making it such a fantastic day 💙🦊

💙 Our beautiful Victorian building got a bit of an upgrade over the Easter holidays! How amazing is our new blue door?! We were also fortunate enough to secure a donation of plants from which have been put into the front garden. We have a delivery of granite from Tarmac due this week to finish it off nicely. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us, paint, dig, plant and secure donations 💙
