Another amazing week with the best colleagues and fabulous children at the National Children's Choir of Great Britain, finished off with a wonderful concert today!

Congratulations to Welbourn C of E Primary School on their fabulous production of Peter Pan! It's been a pleasure to with with them this term and I was very proud of them at the performance this evening, especially given the heat!

Some of my singing students performed in a concert alongside the Asparagus Singers in Fulbeck Church on Saturday night, and what a lovely occasion it was!

The choir sounded glorious and my students provided moving and classy solos and duets - I was a very proud teacher!

Another fabulous day at the Lincolnshire Show conducting Digby Military Wives Choir together with representatives from the other Lincolnshire based military wives choirs! The ladies battled with the wind and sang beautifully!

What a privilege it was last weekend to conduct Digby Military Wives Choir as part of the National Memorial Arboretum's 25th Anniversary celebrations! The choir rose to the occasion and put on a classy and moving performance. 👏

On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May we'll celebrate the milestones, voices and experiences that have shaped our story so far, during two unique days of FREE vibrant performances, reflective moments and powerful storytelling

🌳 Saturday 16 May – a day dedicated to honouring the stories of Armed Forces service shared through the memorials around the Arboretum

🌳 Sunday 17 May - our partners will take to the stage to celebrate the community forged at the Arboretum over more than 25 years

Over the weekend you’ll enjoy performances from Black Voices, Sampad, community choirs, military bands, Talent in the Ranks and Arboretum poet-in-residence Arji Manuelpillai.

A belated congratulations to all my students who took part in the Grantham and Lincoln Music Festival competitions this year. Very proud of all the brave first-timers who did brilliantly and well done to all those who came away with first place or runner up.

We round up the 2026 Festival with our presentation and concert this evening, 7pm at ChristChurch Finkin St. Do come along and support if you can 🎶🎶
