Munchkins Cookery Club Frome Cookery Club for children Our aim is to show parents and children that cooking healthy meals can be inexpensive, quick, easy and most importantly FUN.

Launched in July 2014, Munchkins Cookery Club offers cookery lessons and children's cookery parties from toddler age right up to teenagers. The Classes are run by Katy Harris. I am a Mum of two children aged 6 and 8 years. I love to cook and want to share my passion with others. I have spent the last 4 years working as a cook in my mums busy Farm Cafe and feel I have gained loads of skills and exp

erience to teach others good old fashioned home cooking. I am really passionate about teaching children to cook and about how our food is produced and cooked. I offer a safe and secure environment and provide all cooking equipment. The children take home the things they have prepared as well as sampling other foods during the class. Is there something they would like to know how to cook? If you have a group of 6 children or more, I can run a cookery class at your chosen location or even at your house! Sushi Making cookery class is on tomorrow! New Munchkins welcome. I ran this class last year and the kids LOVED it. Each child will have their own sushi rolling mat and chop sticks to use. Don't worry if your child doesn't like fish, there will be veggie, vegan and chicken alternatives. £7.50 per child. Parents can drop off or stay. Suitable for children age 3 to 12 years! 5pm until 6 (ish) Message me to book!

Well done Munchkins! Tonight we made authentic Chinese spring rolls and learnt how to use chopsticks, you did so well! I feel sad that some lovely Munchkins regulars missed out due to illness/injury/holidays but please don't worry...I'm going to repeat the class! For the next few weeks we will be looking at food from around the world. Here are the next 3 classes. JAPAN, we will be making Sushi with an authentic Japanese dip and learning how to use chop sticks. INDIA. We will be making vegetable samosas with fruity pilaf rice. CHINA (repeat from this week) We will be making spring rolls (chicken, veggie and tofu options available) Classes are £7.50 per child per class which includes tea for the children plus food to take home, drinks for children, a fun food quiz and tea/coffee for grown ups (you can also drop off as I'm fully insured) PM me to book!

Oh dear! We have a few Munchkins that have been in the wars will illness and broken bones, i wish you lovely children a speedy recovery. This means we have spaces for tomorrow's cookery class. We are making Chinese spring rolls and the children will learn how to use chopsticks. Fun Quiz and tasters to eat in class as well as spring rolls to take home. Please pm me to book a space. Good afternoon Munchkins, I hope you have all had a great weekend. This weeks cookery class will be on Tuesday and we are making yummy spring rolls. Each child will make 2/3 giant Spring rolls from scratch and choose the ingredients they want to add (veggie options available) plus a home-made dip. We will also be learning some interesting facts about China and learning how to use chopsticks! Fun Quiz too! 5pm Tuesday at St Mary's Church Hall £7.50 per class. NEW MUNCHKINS WELCOME! We are a friendly bunch and everyone helps each other and we have a lot of laughs as well as learning (and getting messy!). Suitable for ages 3 to 11 years. Pm me to book a space!

I'm really sorry everyone. Cookery Club tonight is cancelled. We have had a horrible weekend and I'm spending the day trying to find our rabbit who is lost. She went missing on Saturday/Sunday whilst we were away from 110 Oakfield Road Frome. We think she escaped when the top of her run/hutch blew away partially leaving a small gap for her to jump out of. She is 2 year old female chocolate/toffee coloured with one ear that points up and the other down. Please check your garden/hedges and sheds. She is not used to wandering and will be terrified. If you see her or find her please let us know. She is very friendly and will come to you if you have food. Please call 07710144153/01373474548 if you have any info. Many thanks
