DANCEWORKS 2026 - SUNDAY PERFORMANCES ACT 1 & ACT 2
****PLEASE NOTE THE TOWN CENTRE IS CLOSED TODAY FROM 1pm***
Due to it being a matinee performance and the temperatures being so high, please could we ask for the dropping off times to be as follows?
DROPPING OFF TIME FOR ACT ONE - 1.00 PM
TINY TOTS DROP OFF TIME - 1.30 PM
DROPPING OFF TIME FOR ACT TWO ONLY - 3.00 PM -
DROPPING OFF TIME JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE ONLY - 2.45 PM
Please could we ask that you don’t arrive any earlier. We cannot let them in until those leaving after Act One have left the Assembly Rooms.
CAR PARK WILL BE CLOSED - Please find somewhere else to park and walk your child to the stage door.
FOOD - Please replenish their snacks. NO MESSY FOOD or anything that will melt in the heat. Crisps, Rich Tea Biscuits, Bread Sticks etc will be perfect
DRINKS - WATER ONLY Please make sure you send them with their water bottles. We will be refilling them throughout their time backstage
HAIR & MAKE-UP - Please send your child with their hair and make-up, as requested. If they need a change of hair from Act One to Act Two, they will have help backstage.
FANS - if they have a hand held fan, please send them with it - it’s going to be hot for everyone!
PLEASE BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS TO ALL OF OUR BACKSTAGE TEAM AND SECURITY - They are all volunteers and here to help keep our children safe.
Huge good luck to ALL of our wonderful students on their final show… We really hope they are as proud of themselves as we are of them!
