Year 5/6 have participated in a ‘Scaffold the World’ workshop. The children worked collaboratively to design a scaffolding business, creating a business name, logo and slogan. The children considered their company values and the social impact their company would have on the community. They had to work out costings to survive in a competitive market.

Year 2 residential - day 2
We started off the morning with breakfast. We went for a walk and created maps to show all the things we could hear, we had a game of poo sticks at the bridge and had biscuits at the waterfall. After lunch, which the children prepared themselves, we went for one last walk to the lake for a welly paddle.

Year 2 residential - Day 1
We got settled in our rooms before heading out for a walk along the lake. We enjoyed cupcakes, kindly made by Mrs Hampton. After our snack break, we enjoyed seeking the alien invaders in the outdoor area 👽
Mrs Rose joined us for a walk to the bridge, where we explored our surroundings looking for different colours and textures. The children loved jumping in all of the puddles.
We ended the day with a takeaway pizza and toasting marshmallows. The children had a brilliant time and the weather didn’t dampen our spirits 🌧️

It was a busy afternoon in Year 5/6. As part of their Computing learning, the children have had to work collaboratively to design and make a model swing carousel. The children will then use the Crumble equipment and programme it with a motor and a sparkle to make part of it rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise, as well as flash with a light.

🌟 Summer Term – Week 7🌟
A super well done to this week’s Head Teacher’s Award winner!
This Y1 produced a fantastic documentary commentary on sheep. Her friends loved it and we think she might be the new David Attenborough. Well done! ⭐️👏
