Well Year 6 of 2026, unfortunately it is time to bid you farewell and wish each and every one of you good luck in your next step as you now move on to Secondary School. It certainly has been a wonderful year and everyone at Frizington Community Primary School wish you the very best on your journey.

Today is a celebration and appreciation of our very special Mrs Little, ahead of her retirement on Friday. Over the last 27 years, Mrs Little has worn many hats. In fact, so many hats that we thought we would wear them today. 😁

There is only one Mrs Little, we love her and are grateful for everything she has done for our school, children, staff, families and community. 🥰❤️

🏃‍♀️SPORTS DAY 2026 🏃‍♂️
We had the best time at our sports day last week. The children showed great sportsmanship and determination when competing and cheering on their peers. Thank you to our helpers and for all the grown ups for coming along to support every pupil. The winning team will be announced in Friday’s assembly! 🏆🥇🥈🥉🏆

Today Year 5/6 participated in a Fresk- climate science workshop delivered by Futureproof Cumbria.

Climate Fresk was an interactive, card-based workshop where the children piece together the causes and effects of climate change, using cards based on the latest scientific reports from the UN’s International Panel on Climate Change.

🌟 Summer Term – Week 10🌟
A super well done to this week’s Head Teacher’s Award winner!
This Y5 pupil created an incredible island for his mini topic. He showed excellent mapping skills and produced a persuasive leaflet to encourage visitors. Well done! ⭐️👏 Mrs Rose 🥰
