Hello! I’m Rebecca, Creative Lead of Frinton Performing Arts. My love for theatre began at eight years old on the stage of the London Palladium, and I’ve spent over 15 years teaching and performing.

Since moving to Frinton in 2017, I’ve been committed to building inclusive, nurturing arts opportunities for local children. My background in primary education, safeguarding and wellbeing shapes everything we do at FPA- every child deserves a safe, supportive place to express themselves.

Alongside running FPA, I’m a singer, regular performer in local pantomimes and musicals, and a Musical Director for community theatre projects.

I’m also part of the Mercury Theatre Creative Directors Programme 2026–2027, developing my directing practice so I can bring even more ambitious, community‑focused theatre to Frinton.

We can’t wait to welcome families into Frinton Performing Arts for a day of free, fun filled performing arts sessions.

Children will be able to jump straight into our classes and experience the confidence‑boosting magic of FPA for themselves.

It's been a busy few weeks, but I wanted to share these snapshots from our last day of term! From all of us at FPA we hope you are having a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing some of you on our summer workshops at the end of August!

🎭 Fifty years ago, this magnificent film burst onto screens and became an instant classic- full of charm, mischief, music and unforgettable characters.

This month marks its 50th anniversary, and in 2027, our performers will step into that world and reimagine it for the stage with all the creativity, spirit and sparkle that FPA is known for.

We’re celebrating a beloved story, honouring its legacy, and giving it a fresh, vibrant new life for a whole new generation.

Summer 2027 is going to be something special.
