Another Saturday in the bag!

🎭 Our 3&4s explored holidays through creativity and imagination.

🎭 The 5-9s brought characters to life and continued building their dance skills with polished, focused movements.

🎭 Our 10–16s worked on their devising skills in drama and explored contemporary dance.

🎶 The whole company came together for singing, adding another song to our repertoire and working on solos

This Sunday 20th September, join us for a Moana inspired workshop, where young performers aged 6–14 can sing, dance and explore the magic of musical theatre!

This week, our younger groups began a new drama scheme of work, focusing on building technical skills. Instead of simply reading a script, we explored the setting- the Town of Hamlin from The Pied Piper!

Our students created a bustling town square and market, complete with stalls selling bright flowers 🌸, tasty pumpkins 🎃, a few pairs of shoes 👞 and bread 🍞, with a central space for the Mayor.

It was wonderful to see their creativity and teamwork bring our market scene to life!

A little behind the scenes peak at our students getting performance prepped on Saturday!

We’re SO excited to be opening our doors and being part of the Tesco Frinton Triangle Fun Day & Grand Reopening! 🎉

Come along, say hello, see who we are, what we do, and support some fantastic local businesses and organisations along the way. There’s going to be something for everyone!

🎈 1 YEAR OF FRINTON PERFORMING ARTS 🎈

I honestly can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we opened the doors to FPA!

I’m so incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve had from our FPA families. From day one you’ve believed in us, supported us, and trusted us with your amazing children and I really can’t thank you enough. And the children… what can I say? They are all just wonderful. Watching them grow in confidence, learn new things, make friends and just become more comfortable being themselves has been so special.

The children who have been with us since our very first day also got a little FPA pin badge to celebrate. 🥰 It might only be a little badge, but it means so much to me that they’ve been there from the very beginning.

I feel so lucky that this is my job. I get to spend my day doing something I love, surrounded by such a brilliant team and families. It really doesn’t feel like work.

Here’s to our first year, and hopefully many, many more! 🥂
